I was so disappointed I thought id share it here as well. (update: went back and was looking forward to some assistance from Michael but was told he was let go. Kept getting the feeling like I wasn't welcomed and the entire vibe was just completely different. I'm only keeping my original statement on just to show what Im comparing my latest interaction to.) Great place to go to. I bought an HDMI converter for my N64 because of Micks or Mikes (I can't remember his name) recommendation a while ago and have never been happier. Staff really knows their stuff. Would definitely recommend this place for your retro game needs. And ask for the guy with glasses and semi long hair (sorry I can't fully remember the guys name lol) he really knows his stuff on some Japanese/anime stuff as well as the console stuff. 11/10 service here!

Hobby Lobby is your one stop shop for all craft supplies and home decoration. Whether it's sewing,…read morequilting, painting, jewelry making, scrap booking, model cars or planes, artificial plants and flowers, planning a wedding, or any number of crafts, they have it. Years ago I had a side business of artificial plants and flower arranging, and made swags, wreaths, and all kinds of arrangements for home decoration. I took pride in using high quality materials. Hobby Lobby has some of the best quality and most realistic greenery and flowers I have ever seen. (They also have less expensive lower and medium quality available, but you get what you pay for!) They also have a huge variety of flowers in natural and fashion colors to match your needs. They also have an enormous variety of fabric, ribbons, notions of all kinds, for whatever project you have in mind. I don't sew, but I needed some fabric and material to refresh some mats for a picture for my office and found just what I needed. In the past I did find buttons here to replace some on a favorite shirt. Hobby Lobby does offer custom framing and mat services, however that is quite expensive IMHO. For double mats and new glass for a 31 X 31 print in a frame the quote was $130. I didn't want to spend that much. So I reused the old mats by covering them with fresh materials purchased at Hobby Lobby (I purchased the glass separately elsewhere). It ran me less than $50 and I like it better than with traditional mats. (picture is included). Even if you are not into doing a craft yourself, there are many crafts and decoration items here already finished. It's a great place to browse and get inspired. I enjoy walking around and seeing the different sections by motif: western décor, art deco, shabby chic, old elegance, to sparkly and pink for your little girl's room. The atmosphere is always peaceful. Hobby Lobby also offers party supplies and supplies for special occasions such as a wedding (tiaras, ostrich plume pens, boutonnieres and corsages, etc.) Be aware that there are usually some kind of specials going on, such as 40% off table ware, or 30% off artificial succulents... I got 50% off the gold trim I purchased for my project. There are coupons you can get online as well. So if you think something is priced at more than what you want to pay and are patient it will likely go on sale soon!

That being said.... This store is HOT. For the first 10 minutes, you're comfortable. As you keep shopping, the heat quickly becomes unpleasant. Each time I have gone, there's only ONE register open. Also, they now have a passcode to the bathroom. You have to track someone down, get the passcode & remember the passcode to be able to get into a semi-clean bathroom. This store is usually cluttered. Aisles are squished; it's hard to push a cart around. Coupons are pretty good but prices on some items are more expensive than hobby lobby. For example, a 6 pack of Copic markers at hobby lobby are $39.99; at Michaels they are $57.99. They do usually have comparable sales; i.e. artist pads at buy one get one for $.01. Before going to this Michaels, I would go to the bathroom first, take a coupon and make sure it's winter unless they really have what you want.
