Seemed to me Patsy's strategy is to say a lot of generic things that would be true for most ppl and bully her client into pretending the rest of the reading makes sense lol. She told me a lot of things that didn't apply to me/ were inaccurate and then asked "do you understand?" When I said I didn't understand she kept responding that I needed to "listen" and "stop being judgmental". If you're going to be providing fake tarot readings they could at least be fun :). It's on me for letting my impulsive curiosity get the best of me, but I'd recommend saving your money for a legit, skilled tarot reader/ psychic which I'm sure exist in the city. read more

I actually really enjoyed my reading here. My mom, myself and my girlfriend where spending the day in wicker park over Mother's Day weekend We stumbled upon this shop, as my mom wanted to buy a deck of tarot cards. We where greeted by a really kind girl named Micheal (yes that's her name) and she showed us a small selection of tarot cards and enticed is to have tarot readings since they where running a special on the weekend. $30 tarot reading instead of the usual $45. I have visit this location 3 times over the past 3 years. Everything that she said was either true at the time or came true after we spoke, aside from things that are supposed to happen in the future. Literally everything, including small details. I had an outstanding reading here. I was feeling very bored on a hot Chicago day and I knew I needed to be spontaneous and follow me gut. It lead me to the Blue Line Diner in wicker park. She went into great depth about my past and present, and what she said about my future made sense for where I am currently at with my short and long-term goals. Ladies beware! A friend and I came here for a tarot reading -- we were open to it either being entertaining or illuminating deep inner truths. Instead what we got were two readings where the psychic seemed hellbent on pushing us into traditional gender roles. She decried the idea of casual sex as an evil, insisted that women must have marriage and children in their future, and lectured on acceptable dating behavior. Overall, pleasant read. Some predictions seemed too out of reach to come true, but the psychic did hit a few points right on par. I went to MT twice (the first time about a year ago.) The first time I went was, in some ways, hardly believable. The reader was all over the place, telling me I would end up in California writing, modeling, and doing photography. Then she said "what's this thing about New York?" I have no connection to NY whatsoever...but she said I would end up moving there for a journalism job? That never happened. Maybe in some other timeline but I really have no desire to move to NYC. Not my jive. Then, she said I was going to move to Europe and told me I had not finished school - I had finished school. Graduated that summer. But apparently, I'm going back. Let's see though. These things never happened nor do i foresee them happening. Maybe I'm wrong - maybe it will. I still have a lot of years on this planet to cash out. So far, it has not, though and these predictions are so out of reach from my life, anyhow. Not being pessimistic, just being realistic. She did say some other pretty accurate things though,which I prefer to keep private, just because it's personal. This is why I returned to her in January. Something amazing happened when I returned. She gave me a love stone and told me to hold onto it and rub it until I open my heart to love. Then she told me I would be meant to lose it -- which means it did its job. I carried the stone in my pocket and rubbed it, but with time, I forgot about it at some point. Come February, I went on my first date with my current (and only serious) bf for Valentine's day. After my date, I spent the night at my best friend's place. I didn't even give a thought to that stone, until March my best friend called me and said, "You left your stone at my house. I found it while I was cleaning." I had spent the night at my friend's place on Valentine's Day, right after my date, so that was when I would have lost the stone. I told her to keep it and didn't even realize till then that stone actually worked!! I think (Patty is her name?) can read people fairly well and you have a great business model. You are also just about the only psychic I have been to who has not tried to squeeze extra pennies out of me because "a dark entity is attached to my soul". At least in my experience with you, you don't use fear tactics to get clients returning to you. You give a positive reading (without sugar coating it too much), and give us tips and confidence on what we can work on. I have never felt afraid after leaving you. In fact, I feel better and okay with myself. Most other psychics will make you feel like you are incompetent without an expensive spiritual cleansing. I went to this place twice. Once was years ago when they had different owners. There was a woman with a cat, and the cat led us all the way up the stairs, and she lived in the building, and burned incense. It was really creepy and strange and mystical. And so I had my tarot cards read and it seemed so incredibly correct to my circumstances at the time I was blown away. I went with my friend and her reading too was just as shocking. We went back I think it was a year later, and they had different management. They were only just moving in, and we were honestly looking for the woman we had seen before. No way to contact her or anything, we took it as a sign that maybe that was just meant to be a one time deal. Well, we both had individual readings, but this time we weren't in the same room when it happened. I went first, then she went, we paid an outrageous amount of money and found out that we got THE EXACT SAME READING we were finishing each others' sentences as we were walking back to the car about what they had said to us. I have spoken with Patsy and her daughter many times for about 2 years, both in person and over the phone. The both of them have been so incredibly correct it was a bit frightening at the beginning. the first time I spoke with Patsy she told me I would soon be meeting my future husband and explained things about his family, his job, personality and ended it with telling me his name.
