We checked in pretty easily and they showed us a starter/tutorial video on what to expect. We booked a slot for the Mutants' Mission online on their website. It was pretty cool as it related to the theme. The door was designed like it was from the X-Men movie. We put all our belongings on the side and the moderator gave us the rules. We were split into smaller groups, each with our own 'superpowers'. I thought the props used were pretty cool and the rooms were unique. I felt like the rooms seemed a bit dated and old, and the way to solve our room was very challenging since it had to do with us actually removing things on walls rather than look at any patterns. The decor in our little room inside of the escape room could have been better because it was like it was handpainted or something. The props also felt like they weren't new. Joey and Shelby were very nice and gave hints. Since we were split into smaller pairs though, I wish the hints were given equally among the group because Joey would always give a hint to the other half of our group in the other room like 3x when we wanted one hint too. Other than that, it was really fun and we were super happy we passed and got our group photos taken after. They gave us a sticker too related to the room and you get a discount for if we wanted to do another room together that same day.
