It was a lot easier to put extra furniture and boxes of kitchen supplies from the moving truck to the storage than up and down stairs to the attic or basement, and the furniture was unscathed in a few rains that would have ruined it in a flooded basement. We've been able to just "grab the other one" when something in the kitchen wears out too. The price is competitive and fair and when the price has gone up, a few times in the last 10 years, I'm notified ahead of time. Mark and everyone I've spoken with there, whether it was with questions about my unit or to pay my monthly rent, have been friendly and knowledgeable. I've always felt my belongings were safe and that I was safe when I visited my unit.

While they do charge .99 cents a mile, it's cheaper than Penske per day and Home Depot doesn't rent box trucks in Toledo. The woman working the counter is always friendly and efficient and I like that I can drop the truck after close. I also like that I can leave my car in front of the building, in view of the employees and cameras, while I am gone.

I brought them back to this location (where I had transacted other business), and was supposed to get a refund. Instead I was charged again for the same boxes. 3 weeks later, and nearly 4 HOURS spent in various calls to various people at U-Haul and I still have not received the initial refund or, the now necessary second refund. I'm still out over $100 after having spent over $3,500 with U-Haul in my cross-state move. U-Haul has confirmed that the double refund is due and states it has already performed the refund, but my bank has not received the credit. And now the store manager at this location, Matthew Lastra, refuses to take my calls or return my messages. This location NEVER answers their phone. It either gets answered by another location or by someone at a remote office. Obviously their sales staff is incompetent as they are unable complete a refund correctly. The main "customer service" number for U-Haul has not done them any favors either.
