I am a Veteran and wasted my time and benefits on the Cyber Warrior Program. They will lie to you the entire time about how great their program and school is, how the certs will help you start a career in IT and how Career Services will be in constant contact until you land a job. The classes are taught by PowerPoint and the Labs rarely work enough to complete. I used other means to study for my exams. Career services and everyone else that spoke with us via Zoom always talked about the careers, preaching great jobs, placement and starting salary, only to offer you $15/hr call center jobs saying " it's better than fast food or other jobs paying more because those aren't careers". Then comes program completion and the many emails, calls and texts to your career advisor that go unanswered. The bulk BCC emails with positions that you do not qualify for because you lack a degree in an IT related field. Do not trust the good reviews on this company, as they are submitted by employees. Which, by the way, My Computer Career won't even hire me because I do not have the experience or degree that is required for an entry level position. Everyone stay away from this place, not just Veterans. Go to a real college, self study, get a degree and your certs without giving more money to these people! read more

I would not be writing this review had it not been for the claims I've heard on their commercials. I've been in IT for about 6-years. I can tell you, you need to get your foot in the door by having some basics such as Associate Degree or higher with cert(s) unless you get a higher degree and are a shoe for a job that highly matches the degree you earned. Having some work experience in a related or matching field is also very helpful. Also, if you have a connection in the inside who gets you in that is sometimes the key. Myself, I've earned two Associate Degrees and take extra courses at a half-dozen colleges private and public and have nearly a dozen certs from CompTIA, Cisco, and others. The programs they offer here will do nothing for you but take your money and/or benefits you are using with them. You want to learn and earn some certs, try Udemy or CBT Nuggets to learn and pass a half-dozen certs and get your foot in the door. Understand, this institution alone will do NOTHING for you. read more

This school is a scam do not go that's all I am gonna say, they will rip you off, no hands on training at all, they charge 23,805 dollars to obtain certs and than wanna offer you a call center job, please do your research and google all the horror stories of this horrible school. They really need to be shutdown and exposed. read more

*****BEWARE - THEY LIED TO ME AND CAN NOT BE TRUSTED***** This company straight up lied to me. I went online and done the career evaluation. I was contacted by 2 different people, Shay, and Andrea. They both had phone numbers that were from a different area code. I asked Shay if she was from the Raleigh Area because I didn't recognize her area code. It would have not been a problem if she was from somewhere else, but she told me via email that she was from Raleigh, but had a number from Texas because she deals with people from all over. Not a huge deal. But then the next week I had been communicating with Andrea. We had a meeting scheduled this past Friday (11/6/15) at 11:00. I get there, and let them know I was there for an 11:00 appointment with Andrea. Instead of meeting with her, I am thrown into a crowd of 6 other people who were starting a tour with a guy named Corey. Something about the tour didn't settle well with me. They had a few people in there that were doing their "flex time" in which a flex instructor was supposed to be onsite as well, but there was no instructor. Things started to feel a little fake and I started wondering if those people who were there for their flex time were really even students or just planted there as a decoy to make it look good for the tour. I couldn't really put my finger on exactly why I felt that the whole routine was fake, but I kept having this weird feeling in my gut about My Computer Career. Everything was fast paced and just a bunch of random facts / statistics. They were really pushy about going ahead and filling out the FAFSA for financial aid, while still onsite, and even wanted me to go ahead and fill out my loan application for Sallie Mae. They even brought us all laptops to have us feel out the financial aid stuff. I haven't even decided that this was the school I wanted to attend. I felt very pressured into making a decision right away and getting financing while still sitting there onsite. I went home, started comparing them to another school I am considering; New Horizon's. My Computer Career looked like they had the advantage. They gave you a laptop and tablet, offered lifetime career services instead of 1 year, and had better financing options. But something still didn't settle well with me. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. That was when it dawned on me that I never met Shay or Andrea while onsite in Raleigh, although we met most of all the other staff. They conveniently did not introduce us to these 2 people who supposedly worked at this branch too but had phone numbers with area codes that aren't even from NC. And I was actually supposed to be meeting with Andrea. I had an appointment with her, not Corey. So, the following Monday, I followed up with my suspicions. I sent an email to both Andrea and Shay, requesting a face to face, in person interview / sit down with either one of them. I figured if they really were from Raleigh as they both claimed to be, that would not be a problem to meet with them for 15 minutes at some point in time throughout that week. I know that at least one of them would have 15 minutes free at some point in time throughout the week. A whole day went by, and I never heard back from them. I emailed them a 2nd time exactly 23 hours later, after never hearing from them the first time. Instead of hearing back from them, some guy named Dwayne from the Raleigh Campus emails me back stating that he regrets I would not be able to meet with Shay or Andrea face to face. Absolutely no explanation as to why. That was when I knew they had lied to me. The reason they couldn't meet me face to face was because they were not from the Raleigh office, which is why I didn't meet them when we were doing the tour and meeting the rest of the staff. I had an appointment with one of them for crying out loud. I couldn't believe that they actually lied to me about something so simple as that. If they lied to me about them being from Raleigh, what else would they be lying about? Think about it people, they lied to me, and there was nothing to be gained from that lie. Of course they will lie to you about bigger things if they will lie to you about the little thing. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! If you don't believe me, take a tour yourself. I imagine you will get the same rehearsed lines, and have the same funny feeling about them when you leave as I did. You will feel pressured to fill out your financial aid and FAFSA while you are still onsite. Listen to your gut. They are liars and that is that!!! I refuse to give my hard earned money to people who lie to me. Looks like I am just about out of Characters. I was going to paste the emails here myself, but I don't have enough characters left.
