This was during the pandemic, and he went out of his way to schedule me at off-times when there were fewer people in the office and upped his already impressive sanitation routine to help keep me safe. A word to those of you who want your chiropractic visit to feel like a spa experience: this isn't the right spot. I finally broke down and started my search for one covered by my insurance. I wanted a chiropractor that has been around for some time, in a convenient location, trustworthy, and reputable. Unfortunately, most chiropractors in the area were either new, in a bad location, or had a ton of bad reviews. I was really surprised with what I found. Dr. Schaffer seemed to be the only chiropractor with excellent reviews and was very involved with his community. So I made an appointment. The first appointment was very long, about two hours. They had me get the paperwork completed, watch educational videos, run tests, and then meet the doctor. Dr Schaffer was very warm, friendly, and just wanted me to feel comfortable. I truly appreciated that because I was uneasy about having chiropractic care. He answered all of my questions and did the first adjustment that day. I am on a care plan, but I am very pleased with his work so far. I am feeling a lot better and can sleep at night. I am still waiting for my insurance to process their claims, but it seems to be inexpensive for everything I am having done. If anything changes with billing I will update the review. I have Medicare so I'll pay out of pocket because I need an adjustment ASAP. No one was there even though supposedly someone was scheduled to be there. Ok.... I came back later and someone was there but then they gave me some song and dance about reporting to Medicare. So either they do or don't deal with insurance. It's not clear and I am not about to deal with this ambiguity.

If you have ever seen one of those TikTok videos that have people getting adjusted and start laughing...yep, that was me today I already feel WAY better, an improved range of motion, my hands come down towards my sides better, and that discomfort isn't nearly as bad. Dr Komal Khattak was fantastic. She took the time to examine me, she immediately identified my trouble areas (some I knew, some I didn't know), as we went through the adjustments she took the time to explain things to me, and was super pleasant to work with. It's by far the nicest looking doctor's office I've ever visited. As for Dr. Garg, my previous review remains true and today's visit only solidified my opinion. I don't feel awkward saying I love Dr. Garg. That may seem like an exaggeration, but if anything, it's an understatement. I am eternally grateful for the aid he has provided, and continues to provide, my wife and best friend. It took years to find a doctor with this level of intelligence, education, warmness, trustworthiness, and empathy, but Dr. Garg makes all the searching and effort worthwhile.
