Since The decoy seminar, I have worked very closely with Tai and Lexi when it comes to obedience and bite work with dogs. Throughout the months, I got to see in person and through their social media pages that they are meant for this profession. They are able to work with all breeds and size of the dog does not matter. I have seen clients walk out the front door with smiles on their faces with their dogs are also really well behaved because of the work that Lexi, Tai, and also their trainer Max does daily. A lot of people always talk about wanting to have more obedient dogs. This is the place to go.

First of all the price is great in my opinion. Their facility has plenty of play space and the livery room we got was large. We always want, maybe even need, to be able to check in on them. While on past stays we would look and find them pacing and awooing all night. Something about this place made them zen. They looked out the windows, climbed and snuggled in their bed. We signed up for both of them to get a bath before pick up but due to some error with their system only our little guy got his, which was sad because if we had to pick we would have picked her. For our two dogs it was $115 a day for the luxury suite. When we arrived to pick them up we expected our Dachshund to scream like he does when we come home and our Auggie to go crazy and we were so disappointed when they came up to us like okay cool, summer camp is over? Not one cry or bark, no jumping or crazy tail wags. Next time we hope to board them for training. Our dogs would have required 3 weeks and that just didn't work for us right now.

Highly recommended pet sitter!…read more We met Katie shortly after we had brought our Yorkie puppy, Chip, home. As experienced pup owners, we knew what qualities we wanted, and didn't want in a pet sitter. We struggled to find someone that we trusted with our "baby" and access to our home. One afternoon, we literally bumped into Katie on the corner near our house, and had a quick conversation! That led to scheduling a meet and greet at our home. Chip immediately fell in love with Katie and we loved how thorough she was with all her questions and follow-up questions! Hubby and I immediately scheduled a date night! When Katie & Chip had their scheduled walk & play time, we got the best video follow-up, with a text letting us know how the visit went. Katie even followed up with us the next day to see how Chip was!! Needless to say, we consider Katie & the Nona Paws crew a part of our family. Super responsive, super responsible, and an indispensable part of having a pet!!

First off, I am very impressed with their digital tools from onboarding/booking through the communication with the customer during their service. I saw it on my friends phone when traveled together and Nona Paws was caring for my friends pets. My friend has now used their service multiple times and feels completely comfortable with how they handle the house visits in her absence. The pricing turned out to be too steep for what we needed (long trip and two hrs/day) but it would have been a great deal if we had multiple pets as their price is per hour.

Last visit, they were supposed to do the anal gland expression, and they forgot. As I was about to leave, the nurse tells me that they forgot to do it, and they would do it now (before I left their office). I agreed, and they did it. Next, they charged me again for the anal expression, and then told me that next time it's included as part of the charge for the visit. This contradicts what they just did, in that they charged me for the visit and medication that they pushed to sell, and then they charged me for the anal gland expression they forgot to do during the visit. Then, my dog has been on heartguard and nexguard since he was adopted in December 2023. The order is set to autofill every six months. Today, they call me to tell me they can't fill my dog's heartguard because they want to charge me before refilling his medication. Disgraceful level of service. The staff appears to be nice, but they are being pushed by their owners, Dr. Medera and Mrs Rivera to focus on generating revenue over providing an acceptable level of care. There is a line between generating revenue and focusing on providing care, but when you push sales of things that are not needed, overcharge for services that were already paid for, and withhold medication when my dog has been under their care for so long, it is unacceptable and down right despicable. I will find a veterinarian that actually cares about their patients.

Past visits with Dr. Madera have been great but my most recent visits with my elderly cat Frazier have been with Dr. Wright. She is very professional, intelligent and a great communicator. She gave me all the information I needed to make good decisions for the health of our boy Frazier. We are grateful for Dr. Wright and St. Francis Animal Hospital.

When we were referred to Ashley, I wasn't sure at first--at the meet and greet I thought, "Wait, Kobe is almost her size!" But wow--good things truly do come in small packages! Kobe absolutely adored her. Not only did she win him over instantly, but she even prayed with him before his dinners (a detail that melted our hearts!). Ashley sent us recorded updates so we never felt out of touch, and every night she made sure his space was washed, tidy, and cozy. The best part? Kobe got to stay in the comfort of his own home while Ashley came to walk him, play with him, and shower him with love. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was safe, happy, and cared for. We are beyond grateful for Ashley's professionalism and warmth. Now that we've added our little miniature poodle-bichon mix, Coco Tinga, we can't wait for her to enjoy the Luxe Pet Oasis love too. Ashley is a true gem, and we'll be recommending her to every pet parent we know!

One of our females gets stressed when separated from us, so that part wasn't surprising -- but the other issues were. We received a call that another pug developed a serious eye infection, which ended up costing us about $300 in treatment. Pugs have very prominent, sensitive eyes, so extra care should be taken with them, especially during a very cold week. We were told all three dogs were bathed the day of pickup. However, when we got home, our male pug had a very bad fungal rash on his paws that clearly had been there for several days. It's hard to understand how that was missed during bathing and handling. We also provided labeled, pre-portioned food for each dog with clear instructions. One of our females had stress-related stomach issues, which is typical for her -- but our male pug later developed a bladder infection and started urinating blood, which only happens when he eats food other than his prescribed diet. This suggests feeding instructions were not properly followed or meals were not supervised, even though they were sharing a VIP suite as we requested. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and not what we expected from a VIP-level service. Sadly, we will not be returning.

I had never had a large breed dog before, so we knew we needed to hire someone to professionally train him or else he would grow up to be a nightmare and would end up tearing apart my house. Roy took many calls from both my husband and I because we had a lot of questions, and even took the time to give us crate training advice because our pup wasn't old enough to enter his facility yet. They usually take pups at the 4 month mark, but he took ours a bit earlier because I work from home and this dog was stressing me the hell out. My dog came back a changed boy. He listens to me now, not just my husband. They offer LIFETIME support. If your pup is ever giving you issues, they will offer advice over the phone, do a house visit, and I believe possibly take the pup back for a few days if needed. If we ever get another dog in the future, Roy and his fiance Stacey will DEFINITELY be the ones to train them. We even took the pup to our friend's house the night we got him back, and have already referred 2 other people to them.
