I know what you're thinking. Al's Quick Release...Hey, isn't this Travolta's favorite massage…read moreparlor? No Silly, but it is a fabulous hidden gem in downtown Davison. They have some of the best service I have ever received when it comes to bicycles. I have personally bought my own bike here 3 years ago, and it's still going strong. They really took the time to assess what was important to me in a bike and made suggestions around that. They seriously have about 60+ bikes for adults in the showroom along with another 20+ for kids as well as one of the most complete parts/accessories selection around. You're a skater you say? No worries. They have you covered as well. Boards, wheels, bearings, tattoos, meth...Hey you kids! Stay of my grass! Damn kids, with their hip and their hop! Okay, so I have no clue what boarders like or need, but they have a nice selection of things that one could ask for....I tried to be like Tony Hawk and do a 920 McTwist, but wouldn't you know McDonald's doesn't serve anything like that. I think Avril Lavigne was there last time but that's unconfirmed :) I have twice been here in the past 3 months getting tires fixed (flats) that cost me less than $12 (including labor) each to fix. - That's fantastic! They are quick to greet you, take your bike, and get it fixed all while you are waiting. The owner, Al, has been there every time I have been in there which says a lot to me as far as being hands on. I have found him extremely kind, funny and genuine. The bad? Really nothing. I can say that the other employees are young (late teens - early 20's) and aren't very polished with customer service skills/interactions so it seems that they are very awkward speaking to people. The prices for the bikes (not accessories) are higher than your average Target or Trash-mart (Walmart) but the lifetime tuneups and service well make up for it. Plus, I'm a huge small business supporter. Do yourself a favor, next time you are in the market for a new bike or board, need service or just have questions, take a trip to Al's Quick Release - it's well worth the trip. Now, if you don't mind, I need to squeeze into these bicycle shorts (illegal in 35 countries), and go meet Lance Armstrong...

This was quite possibly one of the WORST experiences we have endured over many decades of attempting to purchase powersport vehicles. "Sam" was very rude, condescending and disrespectful to say the least. So much so that my wife - one of the most easy-going persons you will ever meet - told him so and walked out of the showroom. "Sam" literally told me, "I don't really care if you buy from me or not. Buy from someone else." He said also stated, "I knew you were going to be a problem as soon as you tried to negotiate with me." Excuse me? Do you really expect potential customers to spend five figures on a recreational vehicle without even attempting to bargain? Just pay the asking price, eh? That's absurd. What is truly dumbfounding about our experience is that I began my conversation with "Sam" by telling him we were there not just to buy a cart, but to build a relationship like I had done with my local Ford/Lincoln dealership, from whom we have purchased 14 new vehicles from in the past ~20 years -- same salesman for nearly all of them, until he retired recently. We drove the 1+ hour back home, astounded at our time at PSI 42. Less than 24 hours later, we did exactly as "Sam" had suggested: We purchased an $11K rec EVolution D5 Maverick 4 Plus golf cart from another dealer. The staff and ownership at that dealership could give "Sam" a remedial lesson on how to provide a gracious and appropriate level of customer service. As long as "Sam" is there, I would avoid this place at all costs. Caveat emptor. P.S. - "Sam" didn't want my business, so we purchased a 2025 EVolution D5 Maverick elsewhere.
