I love looking at this surprising large antique shop. There are currently (as of December, 2025)…read moreplenty of vintage holiday decor at reasonable prices. The people at the counter are always friendly and helpful. There are a lot of little cubbies filled with different vendors' stock and each one is different, so I take the time to go through the whole store, including both upstairs areas, every time. The only very minor downside is the parking. It's tight, and you have to back out onto Broad Street. As Broad is never very busy, it's not a problem, but nervous parkers may want to park across the street.

These kind of things happen no biggy so we did what we do & of course looked for an antique store to scavenge around for a bit! We headed to Holly Michigan what a charming town & we were blessed finding The Vintage Farm House whom also owns Blue Willow Exchange right in the most adorable small town! This extraordinary antique store does not disappoint & also has the most kind owners. They closed at 6pm & we had arrived at 5:20pm knowing we had just a smidge of time we quickly were running through hoping to see everything when the owner so kindly said take your time I have plenty more to do before she closed down for the night. The store itself was incredible and so reasonably priced. The lay out was lovely & the feel of autumn/Halloween filled my little fall heart walking through each sellers booth. As a gal that antiques often I am aware that many antique stores are going to smell stale and vintage. Nope not this one it's so clean and has all sorts of soft fall like smells throughout the entire store. While checking out we got to chat with both owners & they were kind enough to share some history of their town, movies that had been filmed there, upcoming festivals, & so on! Needless to say we will be making the 2HR 30Min drive back in November/December for the Dickens Festival that they kindly informed us about after telling them how much I adore the Holiday Season! Please do yourself a favor & go check out this charming, kind, hidden gem right in Holly Michigan! I promise you that you won't be disappointed. Thank you Vintage Farm House for shinning kindness during times that don't always feel kind. You two definitely go the extra mile! Bless both of you!

I grew up in Michigan and moved to NYC in the late 1990's. I've been buying "Moon" oil from this…read morelittle Genesee Valley kiosk stand since I was a teenager. Although I moved around the country over the years I always managed to keep a bottle of this delicious oil with me. Most of the time I have had friends and family pick up a bottle and send it to me. Well today I happened to be in Michigan for ONE DAY and stopping by this stand was on my must-do list for the day. My plan was to pick out a handful of new oils (in addition to getting the usual) while I was there in person and had the opportunity to smell them rather than randomly choosing them by name off the website. I went to the mall, approached the stand and saw that there is now a "Moon Goddess" oil sitting next to my fav. I picked it up, smelled it and couldn't decipher much of a difference. So as I weighed the options before me I asked the woman (who is the owner and who has been running the place for eons), what the difference between the two were. She snapped back with "the oil recipes are a trade secret so I don't supply that information". WTF? I have zero interest in going into the small town kiosk oil stand business. I was expecting something like "this one has a sweeter scent" or "that one has more of a woody aroma" but no, I was rudely yelled at for asking a completely reasonable question. She proceeded to be rude when I asked for a larger bottle than the one she was getting ready to pour it into. Wait, isn't this your business that you run and make a living at? Why on earth would you treat your customers this way? Thanks a lot you bi-ach. You have completely ruined my long running love for your little oil. I put it on as I left and decided that I'm tossing the bottle. You took something that was nostalgic in my mind and turned it to something I don't like or want anymore. I guess you have saved my friends the trouble of getting this for me in the future because I will no longer be a customer. I'm being generous with 2 stars because the oil is pretty decent. The cons are it could last longer, customer service and location.

I just went to their last event of the year, it was CHRISTMAS IN THE BARN. Now that I've been here this year only missing one event they had, I knew to go the first night which was Ladies Night. I took my sister along knowing she would love it there and not to my surprise.....she bought ALOT! Furniture, sparkly Christmas trees, Santa's. Add my stuff to hers and her big SUV was filled to the brim! It was a very festive event with a special drink, delicious snacks, water. Enjoyable atmosphere and meeting great people. I think not only were we first in line but after loading up went back in and bought more! (Making us probably close to the last ones there!) I can't say enough about Two Hens & a Chick. It's just a great place with great people and great finds!!
