We needed to take to the car dealer to have repaired which took 5 days due to the need to order a new plastic covering. Fortunately Boxley's paid for it (nearly costing $400). But Boxley's REFUSED to offer a refund. In addition they were unable/unwilling to get road salt out of the car. They said they would need to clean again repeatedly several times over to remove. Yet the dealer informed us it could be done in one cleaning and disputed Boxley's claim. We found out that an unsupervised teen detailed our car. It seemed that way from the terrible job. Avoid this business at all cost they don't guarantee their work! When I asked for a full refund they refused and yelled at me. Despicable customer service!

I took the car to get repaired at a Honda dealership, which took 5 days. While the owner is covering the dealership's repair bill--as they legally should for damaging a customer's property--they have refused to refund me for the actual detailing service. So I called Rowland St. and they said if I want to wait during the service, I could have an appointment in about 2 days. A few more minutes on the phone and it was set up. Also, their new building has a pleasant waiting area and pleasant, low-key staff. Have you had a jiffy oil change where they try to add on unnecessary services that you don't need? That didn't happen here. I explained what I was after, I pointed out something else I found, and I got good advice on how to resolve it. There was no upselling. Finally, I figured the service I needed would be outrageously expensive, so I researched to get a feel for what I was in for. IMHO, the final bill reflected a reasonable price for parts which I expected to be marked up obscenely. The labor, too, seemed fair for the task. In all it was a lot of money but it seemed appropriate after my worrying beforehand. I didn't expect to be saying this, but I'll probably be back for my next auto service.
