Phone was answered in a welcoming tone and I was given the run down of a quote and the type of service they provide after giving my dogs breed/weight. Dropped off at 8am and they were ready to be picked up by 11am. Inside seems a little small but staff were very accommodating and friendly. I forgot the pet groomer's name but she was super patient cutting my kitten's nails. She also did a good job trimming the hair around Muffin's eyes so she can see. I can't wait to come back and use the Self Pet Wash Service for my big dog. I was told it's only $25 and no limit for how long you're using it plus they provide the shampoo, towels and blower. UPDATE: I finally tried out the self service wash. It cut half my time to 2 hrs when I usually finish my big dog in 4 hours at home. Highly recommend the self wash service because the staff are all so kind and welcoming to help you out with anything. Plus it's super affordable $25 per pet! Definitely coming back.

It took just 1.5 hours and they were able to blow dry him without any stress! Definitely a better experience compared to other salons he has been to and he left very ecstatic, with a nice fluffy coat!! They are a family owned and operated business that started out as a mobile grooming business in 2019. They opened this permanent location just this year! They offer a private room if you have a nervous pup and use premium shampoo and conditioner! The staff are very sweet and you can see the passion they have for your fur babies! Their website was very easy to navigate, and I liked that appointments are reviewed and approved before they're finalized. When I arrived, Biqi greeted me warmly. I explained that my dog has anxiety, which can sometimes lead to behavioral issues, although I had given him medication beforehand to help him stay calm. She was very understanding and simply asked how I wanted his haircut. I told her I wasn't picky, as long as he was clean, comfortable, and the cut was short, I'd be happy. I know my dog can be difficult, so I appreciated that she reassured me she'd do her best. She estimated it would take about 1-2 hours depending on how my dog did, and about an hour and a half later, she called to let me know he was ready for pickup. I was pleasantly surprised since our previous groomer usually took around three hours. When I came back, Biqi apologized that she wasn't able to give him more of a teddy bear haircut because he wasn't cooperating. Honestly, I thought he looked great! I was just grateful they were willing to work with him. She took the time to explain how he behaved during the appointment and mentioned that her husband, Leo, handles the bathing while she does the haircuts. The full groom was $75, which I thought was very reasonable, especially considering the patience and care they showed my anxious dog. Before leaving, I asked if they would be willing to groom him again because I always worry his behavior might be too much. Biqi immediately reassured me that he did well and that he was more than welcome to come back. Finding a groomer who's patient with an anxious dog isn't easy, so I'm incredibly happy we found Mai Pet Grooming. They're close to home, reasonably priced, and, most importantly, they made both my dog and me feel welcome. We're looking forward to becoming regular customers!

I've brought four schnauzers to Tami over the years, and they have all been excited to see her every time we pull up to her shop. Sure, they might not be thrilled about the bath part, but they *love* Tami and that's a big deal in the dog grooming world! My parents used Tami for their dogs before they moved out of state, so she's been part of our family's routine for a long time. Tami is incredibly skilled and always ensures my dogs look and feel their best. She's reliable, friendly, and runs an exceptionally clean shop. You can really tell she has a special bond with the dogs she works with, and that's something that can be hard to find. We've sent many of our fur friends and even strangers who stop us in stores to her, and we would continue to recommend her without hesitation. It's bittersweet, though, because we recently learned she is beginning the process of retiring. He was malnourished & felt matted, so much so that he couldn't raise his back leg to do his necessary business. Tami was called & she immediately stopped what she was doing & clipped him down to bare skin! Oscar was our love muffin that blossomed into the best companion for my mom during her later years. I have an easy heart bringing my best fuzzy friends to her as I know they will be loved & professionally groomed.
