My Irrigation Now was very professional, has wonderful customer service, and great quality work!

We used to like the company and used it for the past several years. But something changed. The main guy is not there anymore but another one. We had a broken pipe and then they came fix it. The job(Feb) was good but later on a plumber said they cut off the whole house drain pipe for the emergency case of house flood. Then the other leak at one of the control valve of sprinkler system, fixed it( March-April), but didn't put the dugout out dirt back to the place, so the big mound is still there after 2 months, that means now it's still not done. Then my hubby mentioned may want to change to drip irrigation for the flower beds, did that okay(April). Changed previous 6 zone to 8. But immediately said they can also do the sod for the grass patches, the mulching and the compost. So they did, but didn't clean up, after repeated communications of asking for clean up, they said wait till bulk trash days, then missed it., twice. So we still have at least 4 bags of contractor size trash bags in the drive way. On the week they said going to pick up trash for bulk trash day. He came in late(Thursday instead of at the beginning of the week), and and missed it. So said they will haul away but for extra fees. Meanwhile(6/17/2025), he decided to check on the sprinkler system they just changed because some of the sods they planted has died on the side of the house, my hubby asked him to adjusted some of the heads to be higher per Dallas City recommendation. He proceeded to pull out all the sprinkler wires from the system and rewired them, broke one zone in the process and swapped the wires so some zones are now different from before. And came back to say the zone was broken and some areas the water pressure is too low because of various heads added for the drip irrigation, so need to add two more zones. And refused to admit he broke the zone. If the zone was broken before he came to mess with it, Dallas dummer hot weather will cause the grass of the presumed broken zone turn brown, but grass was healthy lush. So he wants to charge again for more to change what he did within 4 months period after we shelled out mire than 10k. Dishonest, didn't cleanup afterwards even after repeated requests, only wants to gauge you more and more with extra projects he thinks of, so far down from when we first hire them at least 5 years ago, which were reasonably priced and no frill sprinkler technicians. They no longer stand by their work and caused so much trouble, so we are dumping him and leaving this review. read more

Be sure to have them show you exactly what is being done and why! I have my sprinkler system "tweaked" each year which usually costs around $400. In February MIN inspected our system and said we needed to have 13 heads replaced at a cost of $735! I asked if the number of heads could be reduced and was told that they couldn't warranty the work if we did fewer because they couldn't tell which ones had been replaced. I was in a hurry and told them to go ahead. I should have asked them to show me the heads and asked why each needed replacing. At the completion, I didn't inspect the work closely. Those are my fault. The spring was wet and mild so I didn't need sprinklers for a while. By June, problems showed up. They came back out and recommended that 2 heads be moved 5 ft for better coverage and pressure for $330. This work had not been recommended the first time. I started to look closely and found one head that they replaced that was spraying directly onto gutter downspout with no water going onto plants (see picture). I had several text exchanges and one phone call with owner and he told me they never warrantied sprinkler heads. He would not come personally to see the issue. I sent several images and video. He was firm that they would do the additional work for the fees quoted and would not discuss any compromise. I believe the foreman on our job replaced more heads than were needed, misrepresented the warranty and left one head spraying on a drain making it worthless. The owner was too busy to come to see first hand what the issues were and firmly stood behind his policy of not warrantying heads despite what his foreman said. He won't correct the problem without us paying more. As I stated I take some responsibility for the situation, but the owner should take responsibility for the actions of his foreman, and come see what the issues were. I will be more diligent in the future, but will not be using My Irrigation Now. read more

Finally extended our existing system with 6 stations! I searched Yelp for companies and My Irrigation Now had a 5 Star review. I read all the reviews, which were all positive, and scheduled an evaluation. Another plus is that they are family owned and not a big corporation/company. Pedro came out and we told him what we wanted and he designed the new station sections. He also inspected our current stations and made note of which ones needed adjusting or replacing. We needed a new panel and wire to extend to 14 stations (originally had 9). Would need to dig a trench under the driveway and down the side with new wires for the 5 new stations for backyard. Each station has it's own shut off valve. He gave us a quote and we scheduled for the following Friday. They were right on time and him and his crew started working immediately. My husband was very impressed how Pedro and his team worked so well together. It was very labor and time intensive but, they completed in one day (10 hours). All 14 stations were dialed in perfectly, which in itself is very, very time consuming (I'm speaking from experience!). Pedro said to call anytime if we have questions or adjustments. We plan to schedule yearly Spring check ups on our system to make sure everything is working top notch. MIN completed a labor intensive and complicated drainage/french drain/sump pump system in order to divert water from my home to an appropriate discharge point. Several other contractors informed me the job was too extensive or the cost would be exorbitant. That was not the case with MIN. Juan put together several options for tackling the project, ultimately selecting the option that would be capable of moving the most water from the property. Over the course of the weekend, the crew was incredibly hardworking and respectful of my property, even taking the extra time to ensure all sod and grasses were put back in place. As a repeat client of MIN, this has always been the case. I can confidently say Juan is the most dependable contractor I have ever worked with. He does what he says, when he says he will do it. As MIN's offerings continue to grow, I will certainly be utilizing them again for our next project. read more

We had MIN install an irrigation system and new sod in April of 2023. I cannot recommend this company for the following reasons. * Juan told us that he would lay 50% top soil and 50% compost as a base for the sod. When the contract was written up it specified a 70/30 mix. It is our fault for not reading the contract instead of relying on what Juan verbally told us what he would do. * The sod, in my opinion, was of a lower quality because it is full of mushrooms that pop up when it rains. * In July of 2023 the schedule 40 plastic PVC pipe between the main water shut-off and the irrigation shut­off broke. This required that we shut off water to the whole house. We made many calls and sent multiple texts to Juan with no response. Three days later, out of desperation, we contacted a different irrigation company to fix the problem. They came out that day and replaced the broken schedule 40 plastic PVC pipe with copper pipe. This repair cost us $500. * In my opinion, the pipe connection the two shut-off valves should have been a copper pipe or, at a minimum schedule 80 PVC pipe. The irrigation company to fix the problem replaced the broken plastic pipe with copper pipe. * Two weeks later we were finally able to contact Juan. We asked him to compensate us for the $500 repair cost. Juan refused and said that we voided our 2 year warranty by using a different company to fix the problem. Waiting 2 weeks to turn the water to the house back on was not a viable option. read more

Out of all of the companies that I have used My Irrigation Now is a cut above for sure. Juan is efficient, professional and honest. It is hard to find someone who shows up on time, does a good job, guarantees their work and is reasonably priced but Irrigation Now does all of that and more. We needed multiple sprinkler heads repaired and new zones placed. I feel that we got exactly what we paid for and more. We had a couple of heads that needed adjusting afterwards and Juan was quick to send someone to do the adjustment. We had this company do a ton of work for us. They fixed the drainage that we've had problems with for years, added a concrete driveway, poured a new sidewalk, patio and a pad for my husband's shop. They put down a gravel drive from the house to the workshop, put in a sprinkler system, dug out and edged new flowerbeds, planted the new plants and put out about 15,000 sq foot of sod. We could not be happier. I would recommend them 100%. They are professional, customer service oriented, fair and honest. I got this recommendation from my friend. I had avowed that was stuck open on my sprinkler system. They came out to begin work but didn't finish initially. They came out again a week later and still were not finished. I wasn't super worried because it was the middle of spring. It took them a total of 4 and a 1/2 weeks and a 1/2 weeks to fix the sprinkler system. But they only came out on 4 days during that time. They said I needed to replace the valve and the connecting valve to it. I pointed out theb4 heads that needed replacing. One day when they were working on it I left to run a quick errand to the Post Office. When I got back they were gone work on with no sign of the repair being done. I contacted the owner and requested that they come back. He told me that they were finished and they would not be returning. I told them in order to get paid they would need to show me a working system. They did eventually come back but the sprinkler system was not working. Upon further inspection I found that they had not plugged it back into the wall. They left at that point. A month later my system is still not working correctly. I have 9 zones but only 4 of them are working. The zones with the vow that they replaced are not operable. Plus I also found another head that is not working properly that they did not catch. I have tried contacting them but have not received any reply. I have asked for a partial refund since the job was not completed but still no response. I am contacting a new company. read more

I rarely write reviews but felt inclined to do so due to a sketchy encounter. Moved into a new house with insanely high water bills which drastically reduced when I turned off the sprinkler system. So decided to have them come out to do a diagnostic test because noticed some boggy areas of the lawn in addition. Was told test would be 85 dollars. They came out, walked around and did their test and told everything was fine except one clogged sprinkler head and the system set up to run too many programs. There were two areas I had previously found and tried to patch as well. They replaced those two patches, changed program, and fixed clogged head. Bill is 250. They state 85 plus 2 hours labor and parts. I said it's 1130, you got here at 1030 that's one hour which except for 5 mins was spent doing the diagnostic test. Would not change it. Sketchy and misleading bill for maybe 10 mins of extra work and yet to be seen if issue is resolved. I'm skeptical. Update: company reached and sent a supervisor. He was very nice, thorough and willing to resolve any issues. He rechecked for any issues, explained things in much more detail and admitted to some missteps. Offered a partial refund which I was very happy with. Definitely appreciate their willingness to accommodate and own up to any miscommunication. Much better experience read more

Pedro and Juan were originally hired by my landscape contractor. Once they had repaired issues for the contractor, we had them provide an estimate to correct other irrigation issues we were having. Pedro was able to diagnose all of the problems and they were all corrected the same day on the same visit!
