The program does an amazing jon promoting not just physical activity, but also social skills like teamwork, sharing, and cleaning up after activities. The teachers are patient, caring, and encouraging. They help the kids build confidence by guiding them through new challenges and helping them overcome their fears. What I appreciate is that every week brings fresh, creative activities, keeping the classes exciting and engaging. This is the perfect place to take your young one for a structured teacher led gym class. The teachers are super nice and keep the kiddos and parents moving non-stop throughout the whole class. The activities are varied from class to class, so it seems like there are new exercises each class mixed in with the activity routines that are familiar. Everything is very clean inside, and parents are required to wear socks when their shoes are removed. The bathrooms are clean, and there are emergency baby and women's products available. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about MyGym! I have been bringing my boys for 2 years and have seen them learn how to listen to instructions, share with friends, take risks, face their fears, dance, sing, and just be their best selves! All of the instructors are so incredibly sweet and nurturing; they all treat my kids like their own! They are truly angels to do this job- and so so so well! They are patient and gentle and always show the kids how proud they are of them. My Gym is awesome! We recently moved to the Tampa area, and were looking for a place that my toddler could play and meet some other kids her age. We went to our first trial class, and I was impressed by the cleanliness as well as the overall variety of activities and equipment. However the staff is what makes this place exceptional! All of the class teachers are enthusiastic, engaged, and truly interactive with the kids. It is clear that they put in a huge effort to learn not only the songs, skills, and activities each week, but also get to know the kiddos, their personalities, and their skill levels. What an amazing place to host a Birthday party! My son had so much fun celebrating his 4th Bday! I was blown away at how detail oriented the girls working the party were. They played a curated soundtrack of all his fav songs, decorated ahead of time, were so sweet & attentive to all the kids! I can't say enough about how great they were! My 2.5 year old just left here in tears saying "I'm so sad" because they told her she couldn't participate in class because her brother wasn't able to come today. I understand it's a siblings class but it's not her fault her sibling couldn't be there today. If you're paying monthly for a class and one of your children can't go one day it's ridiculous to let the other child go to class. read more

Each year my youngest child's babysitter hosts a family Christmas party. This year they rented out My Gym for the party. I thought My Gym was the perfect location for the party. The kids ranged from toddlers to fourth graders, and each kid was able to find the part of the gym that interested them the most and play there. My Gym had a slide, ramp, climbing wall, trampoline, ball pit and basketball net (just to name a few). After allowing the kids to mill about doing their own thing for about fifteen minutes, the My Gym crew began breaking out special activities. First the lugged out a bunch of really soft balls and the kids could throw them at each other or play baskets. Next they brought out special toddler swings that connected to the ceiling. After that it was bubbles and Christmas music and then photos with Santa and gift giving. Finally they closed off the gym floor and hustled the kids out for cake and pizza. I was very impressed with the My Gym party design. They kept things moving so that the kids didn't have time to get bored and start trouble. I would definitely enjoy returning here to see what else My Gym has to offer. read more

Miss Megan and Miss Summer are the best! My toddler was originally very shy and very withdrawn, and would not go up to new people after just two weeks of attending class 4 to 5 times a week he is doing absolutely amazing. He has learned to put his toys away. He is doing so much better with transitioning and being kind with other children! My family and I went to this kids gym for a birthday party. Great place for a kids birthday party, spacious place with lots to do specially for toddlers. This establishment is located in a business plaza in the heart of Wesley Chapel so parking is not an issue. The plaza is a little hidden so GPS is your best friend to get there. Place is really clean and that is always a plus and the girls that work there are really nice. So why 3 starts? This is the second time my son is invited to a birthday party in this place and although we have never been there on a reagrupar day where they offer some classes or activities, for a birthday party I find it kind of boring. For two hours the girls did 2 small activities, nothing special. Most of the time they were talking to each other, they are really nice to the kids but for an expensive place like this I would expect more. I really don't understand the negative reviews. My daughter started going to classes here when she was 6 months, and was in the Tiny Tykes/Waddlers class. She is now 2 yrs 7 mos and in the Terrific Tots class. My Gym has been so good for my daughter. Each class includes interactive songs, dancing, story time, exercises, beginning gymnastics skills, and structured activities led by the teachers. My Gym has helped my daughter learn gross and fine motor skills, socialization with peers, names of colors/animals/objects, as well as to follow directions, and wait her turn. The parents are very involved in the younger classes, kind of like a "mommy/daddy and me class." When my daughter started Terrific Tots at 2.5 yrs, the parents take a step back as the kids do things a little more independently with the teachers. We have had so many memories here... my daughter even took her first steps at My Gym! The equipment is engaging and fun, and kept clean... and they rearrange the whole gym once a week to keep things interesting. There are classes almost every day (Monday-Saturday). Depending on which age group your child is in, there are about 6 classes each week to choose from. Most classes are before noon, so works best for a parent that is home weekdays. However, they do have a few evening or Saturday classes. As far as the staff, we have met many over the 2+ years and we have loved each of them. They are all young and energetic and great with children. My daughter has grown very attached to Ms. Kelsey and Ms. Megan. We haven't had a bday party here yet, but have attended one. The staff kept the kids busy with lots of fun activities... and did some extra things for the bday girl to make her feel special. A child over 5 may not enjoy a bday party here as much, but for the little ones, this is the perfect place for a party. The one small negative I will say about the bday party, was that the seating for the pizza/cake eating was a little awkward. We were sitting on the benches... one side has a counter area but it's a bit high for the littles to reach when sitting. If you could fit a couple small folding tables in that area for just the kids to sit, or utilize the back room, that would be much better. Even with that, we would still do a bday party here and are considering having her 3rd bday here. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of classes you get. It was cheaper then a couple other similar places we looked into. Regarding the cancellation policy, they made it very clear when you sign up and didn't try to hide it. Unfortunately, we just had to cancel our membership for a bit. This is due to some family financial issues and nothing to do with My Gym. I e-mailed them and Ms. Summer e-mailed me back the next day confirming it. I had to pay for one final month after that, but I already expected that. I don't think it's unreasonable because your child is taking up a spot in the class, and that final month gives them time to fill that spot with another child. Anyway, please don't be swayed by the negative reviews. If you are looking for a place to have a bday party, a baby or toddler gym class, or school age summer camp and after school care... go check out My Gym and I think you will agree that it's an awesome place for your child to be. read more

I have had a wonderful experience participating in multiple services provided by MyGym. Classes were the highlight of my son's week. While they were teaching physical skills with games & songs they were also teaching social & classroom skills. My son can be a little high energy so I appreciated the instructors patience and kindness. My daughter attends the summer camp at this facility & absolutely loves it. As a parent I know my child is safe & having fun. The communication from the staff is always clear & they follow through with what they say they are going to do. Both kids attend the monthly Parents Night Out. They have more fun than we do! Worth every penny. read more

My Gym blends music, toys, games,and obstacle courses to get kids moving and having fun! It's the right balance of open, exploratory play and socializing. I love the way they manage to intersperse learning into their classes (Miss Mya: What color is this traffic cone? Is it purple? Noooo, it's not purple!"). My daughter has been taking classes at My Gym for over 6 months. In that time, we have really seen her blossom from a crazy kid who spent the entire hour RUNNING all over the place to a confident, independent member of the group, who participates in the activities and games and enjoys all aspects of the class. I enrolled her because I thought it would be a good way for her to burn off some energy. I had no idea how much it would help us teach her to listen and follow directions! I hated to even give them one star, because its surely not deserved. Just tried to bring my 2 year old for a trial class. I have a 5.5 year old as well and we knew coming in that she wasn't allowed to do the class, because she's too old. That wasn't the issue. They wanted to make her sit out in the "lobby" by herself, while the adults and everyone else was on the gym floor. She wasn't climbing on the equipment or running around. She was holding my hand and standing beside me. We are new to the area, we don't know anyone and she was not comfortable being away from me. It would have been different if she was playing or running around, but she was not and she knew that she wasn't going to be allowed to. She was strictly there to watch her brother in a class. Terrible way to treat a child! So since she didn't want to be separated and made to sit alone, my two year old didn't get to participate in his class, because we had to leave. My Gym is THE BEST before and after care facility!! They provide a fun & safe environment, ensure each child feels welcomed, assist with social skills and help with homework. For working parents the help with homework can be a blessing. Parents often arrive late evening for pick up and rush home for dinner and bedtime routine so any help will give you a few extra minutes at night to spend with your children is appreciated. It is by far the most professional, compassionate, clean, and well ran facility. My daughter has been going there for 6 years and begs to stay every day. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on this scam of a "gym" Gymboree is leaps and bounds the better choice!!! If that's too far, go to a Mcdonald's playground or any other playground for that matter! Cancellation policy/Cost: This is a big one. Do not miss the fine print! They force you to sign up for at least 2 months. and force you to pay another 1 month after you send in a cancellation email.email. That's $215 you are obligated to pay for 3 months minimum unless you sign up and immediately send the cancellation email. Then you only pay for 2 months $155. Just make sure they receive and respond to your email. They seem to like to scam customers and give them the wrong email over the phone to send the cancellation to then by the time you realize they didn't get the email they claim you didn't cancel in time and have to pay an additional month. They are scamming you into paying their rent. No kids gym should be this shameless. Summer K. is the point of contact who wont stand by her gyms mistake/scam of giving the wrong email in attempts to squeeze one more month of payments out of parents. Class schedule: There is a limited class schedule that doesn't seem to mean much because there are not a lot of members that go here. When classes don't have 4 kids or more they are cancelled. My son went to 4 classes only to have 3 of them cancelled. Instructors: The instructors, although very nice, are over-hyped zumba instructors often dancing to Taylor Swift songs while the parents and kids just kind of sit around wondering if they should be doing something to participate or not. You gotta love the energy but none of it is directed to engaging the children with activities and kid friendly songs. Go to a Gymboree class if you want to see how the instructors should engage the children and parents. Gym facilities: The gym is very dark and cold. Yes there are some obstacles to climb if your child is fairly advanced. However, there's very little to entertain a child that can't walk or climb a ladder. Mark, Summer, and the rest of the employees are exceptional child care providers. My daughter started coming as a toddler, barely able to walk. We celebrated her 5th birthday here. Once she entered kindergarten, there were no more classes for her to attend. She is now 8, and she had missed My Gym so much that she begged me to let her start attending the before and after school care program a few months ago. Besides the structured, yet fun, activities My Gym provides, my daughter enjoys being able to run and play freely with her friends while not in school. In fact, the main reason why she insisted on being here was that she began gymnastics classes at another gym this past school year and felt she wasn't getting enough physical activity at her former childcare facility. Horrible experience with the Mighty Mites class. Instructor did not care to introduce gymnastic skills as they say on their website. In fact my son was treated very poorly on his first day of class with a frustrated instructor that seemed to be annoyed. There was absolutely nothing positive or nurturing. So much so that I spoke to the director and to corporate about this matter. Someone needs to retrain this staff. Their behavior is unacceptable especially if dealing with 3 or 4 year olds. read more

We recently hosted our son's 3rd birthday party at My Gym. I can not say enough great things about how awesome of job they did. Our son had an absolute blast and pretty much all of the other parents there said it was the best birthday party they have ever been to. Miss Mya was the lead person working and she was an amazing ball of energy. The party was a perfect blend of structured activities for the kids mixed with free play so they could run around and play on all the various slides, ball pit, trampoline, etc. She also did an awesome job of making our son feel very special on his big day. We also have previously taken our son there for a free class to test it out before we booked the party and were very impressed. The only reason we are not members is because the times for the classes that our son could go to just don't fit in with our schedule. Bottom line, if you are looking for an awesome place to host a birthday party for a toddler in Wesley Chapel, look no further. read more
