There are not enough words or characters to describe the positively, life-altering experience I had with Helene. I did a 12-session hypnotherapy package with her. Just meeting her, you can tell she is an angel on earth, exuding light, love, and safety. I was ready to do the hard healing work and she provided me the tools and space to ease into my sessions. She was beyond hospitable, always offering tea or coffee, or a walk in her beautiful woods. The sound healing alone was enough to provide transformative experiences. What I experienced in my sessions were intense, yet magical. From past life to ancestral & current life issues, we worked through them all. I am an entirely new person because of her (and my willingness to do the deep inner work). I shed so many things from limiting beliefs to people. People even comment how much of a light I am now. I have a deeper connection to myself, my intuition, and my destined path. I am confident and healthier, with more clarity. There is Tiffany before Helene & Tiffany after Helene. I call her my fairy godmother for a reason & I hope everyone can experience at least one session with her. Beware of Misrepresentation and Unqualified Practices I had a deeply disappointing and troubling experience with Helene Van Gross, who operates under the name Artist of the Spirit and claims to provide hypnotherapy and trauma-informed healing services. I booked her HypnoHealth and Wellness package, which she promoted as a clinically-based program for trauma recovery. She claimed to hold credentials in Psychology and Hypnotherapy and assured me that her methods were both safe and effective for addressing trauma. The program I paid for, totaling $3060, was supposed to be delivered in an intensive weekend session. However, the session fell far short of the therapeutic work she promised. Instead of any professional treatment, I was subjected to activities like rock painting, listening to her play her sound bowls, and casual chatting--none of which were relevant to the trauma-informed hypnotherapy I was led to expect. By the second day, Helene informed me that her methods could take years to show results, raising serious red flags. Her so-called hypnotherapy appears to be an elementary imitation of processes found in somatic therapy. However, she rushes through the experience, even suggesting the "landscape" for you, while claiming to communicate with "spirit guides" to gather information. Somatic therapy works with the subconscious mind, and it is strictly prohibited for any practitioner to attempt this without proper clinical training, as it can cause significant harm if done incorrectly. Helene attempted to work with my trauma and subconscious mind in this rough charade of a process. It is in no way an energy cleansing or ancestral healing, as she claims--it is laughable and completely out of her scope of practice. Helene cannot offer you anything that a good, licensed somatic therapist can't do--and she comes with great risk. Without any licensing board to oversee her practices, she is free to do as she pleases and claim it's "energy healing." This offers her clients no protection or guarantee of services. Always use a licensed provider. The bonus? They'll likely accept your insurance too, providing protections for everyone in a true medical setting. After the session, I did some research and found that Helene is not licensed to provide any clinical or psychological services in the state of Texas. Furthermore, her business, Artist of the Spirit, is not an actively registered entity, and its registration was involuntarily terminated. These facts confirmed that I had fallen victim to misrepresentation and unqualified practice. Please be cautious when engaging with Helene or any service she offers. Trauma and mental health require qualified, licensed professionals, and her practice does not meet those standards. I hope this review helps others avoid the same experience. read more

I had a reading with her and at first I was like ok this is a good reading, but when she started plugging in her other services in the middle of my reading I started to lose interest. When I said I needed to go, because I felt the reading was going longer she asked if she could charge me more because we went longer then expected. I didn't walk out with anything that I didn't already know.... the only thing I didn't know was- why wouldn't you warn me that we were going over and ask me if it's ok to continue? What would you want me to say? No, don't charge me more? It makes it awkward. Just be clear before starting your reading to know how much you will be charged. read more
