The only negative I had was I felt rushed not truly knowing the menu and the large line behind me waiting to order. That being said, that was just due to my own anxiety, similar to people waiting as you put your change up at a gas station. The employees were super friendly and helpful and didn't rush me at all. Got a calzone with a sweet red sauce. It was delicious, smoking hot, ooey gooey, and ready for me to devour.

My Dad and I were visiting my mom in a nearby hospital when hunger called. I got on Yelp and found this Giovanni's location was about 10 minutes away. It's on top of a hill with a small parking lot but we found a spot. We ordered and paid for a 12-inch pizza at the counter. We had some toppings on the entire pizza while other toppings were half and half. We were given our cups so we grabbed our Pepsi and found a booth. An employee came by our table and gave us silverware. When our pizza was brought to our table I could not believe all the toppings! No other Giovanni's location was so generous with pizza toppings. The pizza was hot and the ingredients were fresh! I ate one more piece than I needed to but it was worth it LOL;) The manager or owner, not sure which, came by everyone's table to ask if everything was okay and did we need anything. Now that was service you don't see much of these days. I would absolutely come back to this Giovanni's location!

The pizzas & calzonatos were cooked perfectly. Once I had my sour cream, I could handle the spice of my favorite pizza. Great food. Great workers. They have to outsource their delivery drivers during the week in the daytime, circumstances that aren't ideal, but they are working hard for you and making sure people get the experience they desire. However, it is worth the 20 minute drive each way in which we pass 6 different pizzerias to get to the restaurant. It is the best in the tri-state area. There are just a few issues that really keep it from being a 5 star place. First, they share tips. Wait staff should be paid for the work they do. Some of the staff just disappears and doesn't care to offer refills. There are always a few that seem to do the majority of the work. Second, the bathrooms are inadequate. There is only one each for men and women which makes it difficult on busy nights as you are often waiting in line. What makes matters worse is the fact they are dingy and usually extremely dirty. Not entirely their fault as people are gross in public, but an extra stall would make a huge difference. Third, if you get seated up front in the orange booths, prepare to be uncomfortable. They are like sitting at a school desk and they are so close to the front, people are constantly moving around making it difficult to enjoy your meal. You really feel on display and can't wait to get out of there. However, this is easily remedied by asking to wait for a different area.
