If you love Peruvian food, GO HERE. If you've never tried Peruvian food.... GO HERE and experience…read moreits wonders. I went with friends who were game to go splitsies on 3 different dishes, so we got to try a nice variety! The creamy chicken dish was awesome... It had a bit too much sauce, but the chicken was tender and flavorful enough to even out the ratio. The ceviche was refreshing and came with scrumptious mussels. I wasn't as blown away by our 3rd dish, fried fish in a red sauce, but it was still pretty great. The corn and bread are served with sauce that packs some punch. Loved the pop music (even though it seemed a little out of place, the choices were prime) and the friendly service. Chan chan rocked; I'm gonna recommend it to everyone I know!

After reading reviews about this place it was a place to check out…read more The service is close to non-existing, the waiter threw one menu on the table as she went by.. Not a smile and or any tips/recomendations on dishes. We asked what size the starters was as the prices was close to the same as the mains, the waiter said small/ only a taste.. The starter was huge. (We speak decent spanish so the communication was not a problem) We tried cevitche and langostinos for starters. The cevitche was pretty good to be honest, but the langostinos was awful. Please see the picture.. They "decoraded" it with ketchup and mayo! We had a good pisco sour to wash it down with fortunately. The main dish was a hugo plate of deep fried sea food: whole pieces of shell, crab and fish. Probably enough for 4 people. For us this was really a poor experience, the service , the inovative peruvian cusine some mentioned in a review I could neither see on any plates or taste. The fish they used in both the cevitche starter and the main course was of a good quality and their pisco sour was also good, too bad they ruin thin impression with a non-existing service and some dishes who is close to a disaster. If you need to go here, stick to the cevitche no matter what!
