Our sandwiches were really good and totally vegan. Depending on the sandwich you choose, you get to add a few other toppings(I added broccoli, tofu, and some quinoa/pea/bean concoction). I believe the cost was around 6-7 euro for a sandwich which was not just two slices of crappy bread. The bread itself was delicious. Although it's small, it did have everything you need. They are butchers, seafood, cheese, and vegetables. There were also a few restaurants that attached but no one really was eating there. When I was there at around 3:00, a few of the stores were closed. And we waited for 10 minutes to talk to someone about the oysters and in a seafood store, but we were basically ignored because both workers were helping one person and didn't even care to acknowledge us at all. We grabbed some coffee, berries and homemade yogurt. They were all very good, hence the 3 stars. If you were a trouist like us looking for a farmers market in Pairs, I would recommend you to go somewhere else.

My wife had sent me out to buy crackers for all the vegan cheese we bought at a few of the other vegan stores in the area. Of course, me being me, I walked out with so much more than crackers. Cookies, vegan meat slices, and 2 packets of gummies. Sorry, not sorry. I didn't expect Paris to be so vegan friendly but, like trying an Impossible Burger or Beyond Burger for first time, I have been pleasantly surprised.
Lots of vegan meat alternatives!

Trust me, I asked at Monoprix right next door (which is a cross between Safeway and Target) and they had no idea such a thing even existed! They actually have several different brands of almond milk as well as all the other staples for health food nuts: rice milk, soy products, quinoa, etc. They have a limited grocery section which is a bit pricey but everything is organic or "bio" in French. I like the selection of beers, wines, and juices as well as the pre-prepared soups which I use as a base to create my own concoctions. If you are looking for vitamins, probiotics, and essential oils, they also have a bigger selection than any other place I've seen so far.
