Joe does an amazing job with our twin boys. One of them actually fell asleep during his haircut. How about that for low impact :) The decor and conversation is exactly what you'd expect from a neighborhood barber shop. Love this place! With all the other places I tried, I would more often be waiting for it to grow out some before being satisfied or not liking it at all or needing to trim something up on my own when I get back home.

The shop smelled of cigarettes and looked a bit shabby, but I decided to give it a chance, hoping the haircut would be good. My son showed Jay a photo of the style he wanted. Jay started by shaving the sides and back almost to the skin. My son politely said it was going too high, and Jay suddenly got upset, raised his voice, and said he's been doing this for 25 years and didn't like "that attitude." Then he told us to leave and refused to finish the haircut. We were both shocked but left right away. We don't get involved with these kinds of people and situations. My son was left with part of his head shaved and couldn't go anywhere looking like that, including to school the next day. Luckily, we found another barber right away who was able to fix it. For context, my son is very mellow. I'm down to earth and would never leave this review if my child was at fault. There was absolutely no reason for how we were treated. This was the worst customer service experience we've ever had.

She ensured my cut was to my liking and then the magic began... out back there was a dark room of relaxation! This brought the haircut game to a new level; massage chair, hot towels, shampoo, and head massage. I came out rejuvenated and feeling great. I think it was $22 for the haircut and $7 for face shave. Maybe $4 extra for MVP which again was gratis for first time visitors but would absolutely splurge every time.
