He can be a really ON or really OFF. I'd spoken to him all week about photos and he practiced smiling and posing. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. Wellllll, picture day was his OFF day. He decided to be a real two-year-old. He was A LOT! Our photographer, Chung, had the patience of a saint. I didn't think we'd get any good photos! Our session was about 40 minutes or so and Chung tried his best to get many photos. True to his word, the gallery was available to me by 8am the following day. WOW! When he said the gallery would be available the next day, I was thinking wayyyyy at the end of the day. Nope! My gallery was available a little after 8. Nice! They have a nice studio and location, but the main photographer was very rude, passive-aggressive, and overly bossy to both us and her staff. It made the whole experience super uncomfortable. The other staff members were really nice, but that unfortunately couldn't make up for the terrible vibe the lead photographer created. The photos were okay, but definitely not worth the stress and discomfort. We fully regret going and do not recommend it.

They were the first vendor we booked after securing our venue, so we got to know them over the course of the year leading up to our wedding in August 2025. After coming across their photos when researching different potential photographers that had experience at our venue, we were very interested in meeting them. We had an initial video call with them and knew immediately that we wanted to book them for such a critical part of our wedding journey. There aren't enough words to describe how skilled and professional they are--they are amazing photographers (individually and as a duo) and clearly love what they do. Our proposal photoshoot was the only prior experience we had in terms of taking professional photos as a couple. We met them in person for the first time at our engagement photoshoot--they immediately made us feel comfortable and were seriously thoughtful about the entire process, whether it was the location choices, minute-by-minute weather changes/forecast, outfit changes, etc. It really feels like they plan for everything and care about the little details. When we asked them about another vendor they would potentially work with on the day of our wedding, they even referenced notes they made when they had worked with them for a prior wedding. Throughout the whole process, they were prompt communicators (frequently responding to an email within minutes!) and guided us with experience and patience that we really appreciated. Whenever we had something to discuss with them (including choices we needed to make as a couple), they never hesitated to give us suggestions and feedback. Even if they offered an alternative suggestion to an idea of ours, it always felt like they genuinely cared and they wanted what we wanted, and it never felt like criticism. We received our wedding photos just about 2 months after our wedding, and we love every single one of them (all 667)! They are truly the best photographers to work with and just lovely people to be around. We definitely plan to keep in touch with them for future photoshoots! :) TL;DR: You should have booked A Tale Ahead Photography yesterday!!

I came here to get my passport photos taken. I was told it is $15.99 for 2 physical photos or…read more$25.99 for digital photos. Since I was renewing my passport online, I asked for the digital photos. The nice man let me use the mirror to make sure my hair was how I liked it, and then took a few headshots. What was uncomfortable for me was that his dog was in the store and kept licking my knee while I was sitting for the photos (1 star off). I have never seen pets roam free in a place of business. The photos were okay -- they fit the right dimensions required by the U.S. Passport Service. There were two photos that I sort of liked, and ultimately chose one of the two. The man told me they would be e-mailed to me. After I got home, I only saw one photo in my e-mail. When I asked for the second one, he said $25.99 is for only 1 digital photo, so I felt kind of ripped off (1 star off)...why would 1 digital photo cost more than 2 physical photos? I should have just had a friend take a digital photo for me in front of a white background with my phone. The process was fast for sure, but maybe too fast. $25.99 for 5 minutes and you only get 1 photo.
