As always, I'm extremely disappointed with the level of skill and professionalism of the stylists…read moreat this salon Mihase. All I wanted was a simple layered haircut, yet the result was terrible. It's unbelievable that this salon allows its staff to work without the skills necessary to perform even a basic haircut. What makes the situation even worse is that they genuinely believe they did a good job, despite the horrible, shapeless result. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience here. Three years ago, one of their stylists completely burned my hair, and the salon refused to take responsibility for the damage. After multiple disappointing experiences, I've completely lost confidence in this salon. I will definitely never return, and I would strongly encourage others to think twice before trusting them with their hair.

I scheduled an appointment to see my stylist, Robert Alexander, in his new space. The suite is super GORGEOUS on top of being private giving an experience of exclusively and luxury. I received the RA Experience Deluxe, which consisted of, full service styling (wash, blow dry, and curl), a custom cocktail conditioning treatment, trim, and extended scalp massage. The scalp massage was absolutely euphoric. I love the one on one time and servicing. Looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks.

I was sent to RA by another stylist (whom he knows) who told me that RA specializes in customer-made wigs and hair toppers with silk/lace base. I read the same thing somewhere too, plus his own website mentions lace fronts, and I thought it was the same thing. I filled out a pre-consultation form (that no one bothered to read), in which I indicated that I needed a hair topper. When I arrived, my "consultation" lasted exactly five minutes, long enough for RA to tell me that he doesn't do toppers, wigs only, and that he needs to tell his fellow stylist to stop sending him clients who need toppers. He never looked at my hair, never suggested any viable alternatives either. I really feel that this was absolutely unprofessional and that RA should refund my money as he charged for a consultation, and what I experienced was anything but. Thank you.

So happy to have found Lida that I keep coming back, even though she costs more than my regular hair stylist. I really can't stress how great Lida is. If you have thick, curly, wavy hair... she will have it looking straighter than a Brazilian or keratin treatment. I speak from experience. I get so many compliments after my blow outs with her. I even bought the same flat iron as her but she has the magic touch! She's a gem.

I have been coming to this salon for many years solely because of my hairdresser, Anna, who has…read morebeen doing my hair for 25+ years. She does a fabulous job, and I am completely satisfied with her work. In fact, I drive approximately 45 minutes each way because I trust her with my hair. Unfortunately, my experiences with the owner's son have been the complete opposite. I find him extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming, and lacking in basic customer service. When you walk into a salon--especially one in such a competitive industry--you should feel appreciated as a customer, not as though the business is doing you a favor by allowing you to be there. Today, when I went to pay, he informed me that I had supposedly been undercharged during my previous visit and added approximately $15-$20 to my bill. I was honestly taken aback. I explained that I paid exactly what I was asked to pay at my last appointment. If the salon made an error when calculating my bill, how is that the customer's fault? He was very rude and dismissive about the entire situation and never even clearly explained what I had supposedly been undercharged for. I paid the additional amount without arguing and left, but the whole interaction left a very bad taste in my mouth. For a business, absorbing a $15-$20 mistake made by its own staff would have been a small price to pay compared with making a longtime customer feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is especially disappointing considering that the cost of my services has nearly doubled over the past two years. I have continued coming because I value Anna and the beautiful work she does, but after today's experience, I am genuinely reconsidering whether I want to return. You simply should not treat loyal customers this way. If it weren't for Anna, I would not step foot in this salon again.
