Discovered this salon on Groupon. I go to Lida for the best blow outs. I have super thick, frizzy hair and Lida and her assistant Cassidy turn my hair into a sleek, straight style that lasts once I step outside. So happy to have found Lida that I keep coming back, even though she costs more than my regular hair stylist. I really can't stress how great Lida is. If you have thick, curly, wavy hair... she will have it looking straighter than a Brazilian or keratin treatment. I speak from experience. I get so many compliments after my blow outs with her. I even bought the same flat iron as her but she has the magic touch! She's a gem. read more

As a man with straight hair it's hard to get a good haircut but Daniela did a great job. She mad sure I liked what was being done and frequently stoped to make sure I liked it. My hair was getting so long and out of control, I felt I wanted to try a new salon and get a fresh look. My hair is fine and thin, I really wanted some texture and volume. I got a Groupon here for a haircut, deep conditioning, and style to try them out. I called and made an appointment; they scheduled me with Lela. Her assistant washed my hair and put in the treatment, which took about 10 minutes. Lela asked me what I wanted to do with my hair and offered suggestions right away that best suited my hair type. She cut it exactly the way I envisioned! She was also so sweet and personable. I had my daughter with me parked in her stroller. Lela didn't make me feel like it was a burden to have her in her space, she just worked around her. Everyone in the salon was friendly and accommodating. I also noticed all the stations were kept tidy and hair was swept immediately after a client got up. I was really impressed and sad I didn't know about them before, I was glad to find it on Groupon! It's a full service salon, they do nails and waxing too. I felt great walking out of here, which doesn't happen often for me as "me time" is scarce. Recently home in Michigan for my sister's wedding shower, my mom surprised me and made me an appointment to get a blow out with Lida at Pannos Salon. Lida will also be doing my hair for the wedding, so I was excited to meet her prior. She did an awesome job and was extremely personable too. I can't review her cut/color abilities personally, but she's done a fabulous job with both my mom's hair for the past three years, and my sister's hair as of late. (It takes a lot to please my sister as well... she over analyzes her hair like it's her job!) While I was there, I inquired about getting waxed as well... It's rare that I get time away from work and my baby to take care of these things. Luckily for me, Jenna squeezed me in and did an amazing job with my brows and lip. Thank you Pannos Salon for making me feel pretty again and just in time for my sister's shower. I'll look forward to visiting with you again in November for the wedding! Side note: Pannos is just a couple of doors down from Sunny's where you can get perfect fluffy omelettes - one of my favorite things to do when I visit my hometown as well! I have gone to Heidi at Pannos for over 25 years! She listens to what you want for for your hair, she explains what she has in mind to do, what is actually possible, and always does a great job! If that's not enough of a recommendation, after I moved out of state, I drove 6 hours to continue to work with her!! It was only for lack of time that I haven't seen her for a while! Went to Pannos because I know my grandmother used to go there and I was really impressed. First, I was greeted really nicely and taken care of by the owner who was great. I went in for the advertised $20 blowout for which I made an appointment. When I got to the salon they didn't have the appointment down. Layla was still able to take me but it was the worst blowout ever. I told her I had a party to go to and wanted volume. She said my hair was easy to work with which it is but she left me with flat hair and no style whatsoever She hardly used any product She really didn't care . I will never recommend the salon or Layla to anyone The worst part is that I now have to rewash my hair and blow it out myself. What a waste of time and money. Went in for color, cut, blow out. For those of you who worked so hard and paid a lot to achieve the color you love, you should always go to someone with color expertise. Someone you know you can trust and is truly a "color expert". I went to Pannos for a root touchup. It took me months and $$s to achieve the right shade of blond and it was destroyed in one visit to Pannos. This mistake cost me 7 hours (5 hours at Pannos + 2 hours at Tricho) and total cost $250 (Pannos + Tricho). The Tricho Salon fix required the color to be stripped + color. My hair is damaged from all the hair chemicals. I called Pannos and asked them for consideration to give me an Olaplex treatment. Considering I paid for a service that left my roots a completely different color than my hair, I thought it was fair. Pannos would only offer a discount on the Olaplex which I can get at other salons. That said, never going back and would not recommend for color. I cant comment on cut, but I would never trust Pannos with color. They are too quick with the color mix and do not take the time to really look at the hair to see hair texture or ask questions about hair porosity and colors that your hair pulls, which can make a huge difference on how color will take. 2 thumbs down read more

Terrible. Layla is terrible. She ruined my hair. I asked them to redo my highlights they originally said yes without a charge. I made an appt showed up and the owner whose name is Pannos tried to charge me double. He was rude and not customer oriented. Layla stood right there and agreed when I was specifically told there would be no charge. I just had my hair highlights put in 3 days ago. I told Layla what I wanted. She acted like she knew what I wanted and ended up giving me the wrong hair lights. I wasted 4 hours of my time for the end result to be terrible. I would never recommend this salon. If you can't be nice to your customers you have no business running a salon. I had a group on for a color plus I paid extra for highlights. I should have known if a business is still advertising on Groupon then obviously they need the business. Hence, why they were so money hungry. If they didn't want to redo my highlights they should have just said no, but to lie to a customer tells me a lot about their integrity. They also said they only take a debit card because they have to pay a fee on a credit card. What legitimate business is worried about credit card charges? I should have known something was fishy when I was forced to use my debit card and not my credit. Moreover, you can disputed a claim on your credit card if you are not happy with services. Obviously, they must have had a few. Stay away from these people. read more

I did a Groupon and had my hair done with Jenna. One of the worst results I have ever had. She is very sloppy with her highlights! The foils are very crinkled and messy, I think she thinks we will have the illusion that that they are full highlights. But no, only 5 highlights on each side. Most stylists are neat, they fold their foils, thin in an organized manner. The results were horrible, you couldn't barely see the highlights. And she talks way, way too much. How great she is as a stylist, how fast, how she worked hard for 4 years and didn't make any money. Blah, Blah, Blah. Then running to her cell phone. Very unprofessional! I'm not from around this area and needed to find a hairstylist for a trim. I saw on groupon that this salon was very highly recommended so I bought the groupon for a deep conditioning, cut, and style. I've had bangs all of my life, whether the straight across ones or the side swept ones. Currently, I have side swept bangs. I'm sure anyone with bangs is nervous when they first visit a new hairstylist. I have had some pretty bad haircuts where my bangs were uneven, too short, etc. However, this haircut takes the cake. I currently have side swept bangs and they were grown out past my nose because bangs need to be longer if you are going to sweep them across to the side. My hairstylist cut my bangs to my eyebrows while my hair was still wet. I'm not sure if she just blanked and cut them that short or forgot that I told her that I pull them off to the side. Afterward she blew dry my hair my bangs were now to just below the middle of my forehead. She then asked me if I pull them to the side and made the comment "oh, I cut them too short then." She then proceeded to add more bangs to try to make them look longer. I have NEVER had this bad of a haircut. Aside from my bangs, she cut my hair so bluntly that it looks like I have a 5 year olds haircut. The receptionist was very nice when I showed up and there is an assistant who washes hair, I had no idea that this was the case and did not bring extra cash to tip the assistant, which I felt bad about. There was confusion when I got there and I sat at the sink for a while instead of them just letting me sit in the waiting area until they were ready for me. They also washed my hair without my hairstylist even seeing me. I think if my hairstylist saw how I had styled my bangs before they washed my hair this would have all been avoided. I now have to pin back my bangs for the next several months while they grow out. Unfortunately, I just started a new job and will be getting my picture taken soon with this lovely hairstyle. I have definitely learned my lesson and will never buy another groupon for a hair cut again or come back to this salon! read more
