I enjoyed the classes and the facility, but I do want to say that one of the teachers was super inappropriate when correcting my form. I told her I was doing it to the best of my ability and she kept telling me to straighten and lock my leg. It got to the point where I wanted to wear headphones to class to boldly ignore her. I forget her name but i think it was marianela, or something like that. I teach as a yoga instructor in Chicago and this was totally inappropriate. I only continued to go because it was the only option for a hot class in Merida.

All the instructors were very knowledgeable and welcoming. If I lived in Merida this would definitely be my go-to yoga studio. Prices are a bit high for Mexico but you'll truly get the best practice EVER. Studio is spacious clean and well maintained.
