Amazing! Dr Monica and Jaime were incredible with my 8 year old daughter. She needed an extraction because of an abscess and was terribly nervous. Both Jaime and Dr Monica were so calm with her, explaining just enough so she felt like she was part of the procedure but not so much that it scared her more. They were very patient and Dr Monica's ability to calm her down and get her attention when she started to feel panicky were a marvel. You can tell how much they care about kids here! We will definitely be back for any sort of procedure that our kids might need in the future. Five stars and then some!!! read more

I went to my 6-year-old kid. he has cavities and Doctors checked and came with 6 teeth cavity and 2 root canal. totally 8 teeth. on our first visit, they provide 50$ reward or coupon or discount. she proudly came to us and provide $50. my BILL was huge after insurance. They scheduled 4 visits. on my first visit, they completed 2 cavity teeth. it was so horrible. my kid is trying to manage the pain because not properly complete. next day I again went to show the issue. Doctor checked and said 'NO ISSUES' hardly Doctor examined 2 mins. I will never goto MVP Smiles again. read more

We took our 5 year old foe his first dental visit and it was a success! The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helped ease him into his first visit. Really bad experience here and would caution you to go with another orthodontist. End result was very uncomfortable since Dr. Barrer spent years bringing my teeth very far forward and since then, I've had issues with teeth and bite. At appointments, while waiting for Dr.Barrer, dental hygienists Jaime and Erika would often gossip about other patients to each other right in front of me which was really uncomfortable and very unprofessional. Braces took much longer than expected (about 4.5 years instead of 2) and were finished . Appointments would last only a few min without much explanation of anything. In 2020, contacted MVP smiles for info abt past treatment, they said they LOST almost all prior patient records and brushed me off, even after charging me for another consultation which lasted about 5 min. To get any more information, they said it would have to be through another paid consultation. At present, I have no information about how my teeth were treated under Dr. Barrer's care which is frustrating, and my questions about treatment haven't been answered at all. Would strongly advise you to meet with other orthodontists in the area. Wish I did more research before coming to Dr. Barrer and went to another orthodontist instead, which I'll be doing for the second round of treatment I apparently now need. read more

When my niece came up from Texas to visit me she had complained that she was experiencing soreness from one of her teeth. I looked online and found this pediatric dentist. I contacted their office and explained the urgency. The next day my niece was being treated by a skilled dentist and had her cavity extracted. Thank goodness for their fine accommodations, helpful office staff, and skilled and knowledgeable dentists that know how to problem solve. Great experience for my 3 year olds first dental appointment. The staff was very efficient, knowledgeable , and friendly. My daughter loved watching cartoons during the cleaning and was excited to get a special surprise at the end of her visit. The dentist was kind, caring, and truly tried to get a good understanding of my daughters medical and dental history. I think we've found a winning pediatric dental group!!! Everything was geared toward their age (between 5 and 8) so the boys were able to make decisions on their own, using a list of options for flavors, which was accompanied by pictures. It's cool (from child 2) We can joke and laugh with everyone (from child 1) Super friendly staff. The front desk/admins are always helpful when I have questions. Child 2 had a massive chip in his front tooth and Dr Kwatra repaired it flawlessly! Both children see Dr Behrer for orthodontics (Invisalign for child 1 and braces for child 2). Never had a problem getting an appointment and rarely wait more than 2 minutes after checking in. read more

On 9/13/18 brought my daughter for the first time to see the dentist. What a "Great Experience" the waiting room was clean and exciting. The receptionist was friendly and fun. Erica, the hygenist, was friendly and fun. She explained everything in detail and made my daughters experience fun. Dr. Kwatra, was friendly and pleasant. My go-to place for all my teeth needs. They have a dentist and an orthodontist in the same place. Very convenient. They use laser technology so nothing hurts other than numbing shots for when teeth get pulled out. They have TVs at every chair and you get to choose what to watch. Amazing! read more

At our first dentist, our 3 year old son came out crying and would never go back. We came here after he chipped his front tooth and the experience could not have been better. We have been taking our two kids here ever since. They treat the kids great. Everyone in the office is kind and very helpful, including Dr. Kwatra. They are very patient, especially helping us deal with insurance questions. For some reason, we just feel very comfortable visiting this office - something we can't say for may other dentist/doctor's offices. read more

I wouldn't recommend this dentist. I do NOT like the new doctors they have now. I personally find them rude and the fact that they always find something wrong, lead me to believe they are truly out for money. I don't find the front desk staff to be very competent. I've gone back and forth with my insurance company because MVP didn't provide enough information to them. I was also once billed for something, that I later found out my insurance company already PAID for the charge! Yes, MVP gave me a credit but that shouldn't happen. Poor management. Unfriendly dentists. Don't waste your time and keep searching. read more

Dr Kwarta and his staff are incredible with both of my children. My son is very anxious about going to the dentist and Dr. Kwarta and his staff are able to calm him down and get X-rays and clean his teeth. My daughter who has special needs, is not cooperative but Dr.Kwarta is incredible patient and flexible and does as much as he can while remaining incredibly calm. Would highly recommend! read more

Doctors are good ,but front desk people only worried about money... Since they have 2 office, my insurance only taken in the old office, which was never communicated. They gave me appointment in new building and I had to pay $300 out of my pocket instead of "ZERO COPAY" according to my top federal employee insurance. And when I called, they couldn't do anything about it and only wanted MONEYYYYYY.... BE CAREFUL....I never recommend their service.... read more

I recently took my 4 yr old daughter for her 1st ever dentist appointment to Dr. Kwatra. I was a bit anxious going in, not knowing if she would sit still through the exam and cleaning. The pleasant demeanor of the hygienist and dentist put her (and me) to ease right away. We were done with the exam, films and cleaning in no time. Disappointing! This office was great when we first arrived, but we soon found out they are incapable of going their job. We brought both of our children in to see the dentist. X-rays were taken and then we were told that he was not capable to handling root canal because he needed a more seasoned dentist to do the work, i.e an adult dentist. We saw the adult dentist their office recommended and that dentist said they do not work on children. When we called back we were told that WE needed to find a dentist to do the work. So we did. The new dentist called their office to get the x-rays as to avoid additional costs. They said they would send them right over. Nothing. They called again...nothing. They called again and nothing. We paid for another set of x-rays from the new dentist. Not mention, they never followed up on a plan for our son. So we took our son to a new dentist and same happened except they stopped answering the new dentist's phone calls. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend this dentist unless you know the dentist or someone in his office. That is likely the only way you will get any kind of professional service. They do not even deserve 1 star! read more
