I have taken my Pomeranian here for 6 months for grooming. He had scattered matting so I was advised to get him several mini spaw treatments with dematting each time until hes fully dematted then a full groom and cut. We waited for 6 long months for this full groom and cut to happen which was $90+ my family was mortified when he came home. The groomer tending to his dematting sessions was really nice & patient however, I made sure if she is really good with cuts. I went back to the store to discuss the end result with the manager Brie, she says she'll see what she can do. 2 weeks came by never heard back. So I followed up. She says the owner doesn't do refunds or the option was to get another cut from a different store! Unbelievably disappointing and will never ever come back here. read more

Self grooming area is great. $15 to not clog up your shower drains at home have all the things you need at hand. Aprons are provided to keep your clothes dry. There is a large washing area that accommodates dogs of all sizes. Shampoo built into hose so just change the lever to clean or rinse. There was also a scrubbing brush to clean with and a regular brush to brush out. Hanging up there were a few different scented sprays to finish up with. We went with the grapefruit one. One of their vacuums is down so it wasn't in there but a staff member was able to snag it from the other bathing area so we could get him blown out. There are also a few towels provided and a small dog and large dog collar that you can attach to the wall so your pup isn't all over the place. Would come back again to use this self serve option. The groomers are just okay. Last time we picked up our pup he still had lots of hair flying around and his hind area was unevenly trimmed. Not to mention it took longer than expected which would have been fine if they didn't send me a text saying to head back that my dog was almost done. I came back and still waited 40+ minutes before he came out. I had to ask someone what was going on. Also looked like the tips of his nails were just filed but not actually clipped read more

Staff was very unfriendly. We got a lecture from the 20 something year old groomer and the cashier about grooming when we followed their grooming recommendations to a T bc it was pre-booked. Going to have to order our regular purchases of Farmina, Stella & Chewy's Meal Mixers, antlers and Vital Essentials from Chewy's instead of heading into our local Mutts & Co that we used to LOVE. And find another grooming option. There is a newer, blue haired sales associate who wants to run around spraying disinfectant (two visits in a row now) on everything our 5 year old touches. He always loved to check out the cool dog toys but this girl is there to save the world by shooting chemicals all over any toy our child touches. And yelling that our son needs to "stay with you!" at us ...mind you we are right there as he points out toys for our pup. This is a retaliatory measure when told he had to have a mask on, which is just nonsense. Pick the world you want to live in and stand up for it, Liberal employees pushing their ideology on children can take a hike. read more

I have been to this location a few times. I really found a great groomer but she left for another place. I had followed her to that new place and when she left there, I went back to this Mutts & Co. because it's closest to my home. This particular groomer had groomed both my dogs before. I couldn't get them in the same, so I booked each an appt., one at 9 and the other at 1. My more skittish dog was scheduled first. I brought him in with the other to see if they could at least be together for the skittish dogs grooming, I'd take them both back home and the other dog would come back alone for the 1p.m. appt. The groomer was kind to say she'd take them both at same time, wash the skittish one, let him air dry and start working on the other. I was thrilled. They'd give me a call when they were done. After 3 hours and no call, I drove over. I found the groomer, another associate, and my two dogs in an office (I could see through the windows) just talking and no grooming. I asked another associate to find out what was going on. Ashley came out and said the first dog had only been washed but the other was done. The skittish dog would not even get started for another hour. This meant my dogs would have been at the groomers for 5 hours by the time both were ready. I said that is not what I anticipated was going to happen and not acceptable and to bring me both dogs. The skittish dog was booked for a mini spa, I was charged $53. Ashley said it was for the wash, blow out, and brush. I said my dog only had a bath and was air dried, you're going to charge $53 for a bath? Ashley replied, ' I don't make the rules, I just enforce them'. I promptly paid for both dogs and walked out. I was sent an automated email soliciting feedback. I gave this same feedback, which went to the owner. I got a voicemail a few days later from the owner wishing to talk about my experience. I called him back the next day and left him a voicemail. It's been a week without any return call. I have no intention of returning to that location. The groomer may have meant well, however was not clear in stating the two dogs would still not be done until after the scheduled 1p.m. appt. I would not have agreed to let my dogs hang out for 5 hours at the store. The groomer did not do a well enough job with in the other,non-skittish dog, to even want to use her again, if I were to ever return. Very disappointed. read more

We take our Goldendoodle here to get groomed. He goes to Shelby and we love her! She is so patient with him and does such a great job. The prices are a bit expensive but they do a great job. We did have a 10% off coupon we got that we wanted to use on our grooming. No where on the coupon does it say what it excludes, but they wouldn't let us use it on grooming. That needs to be on the coupon and if it's not they should honor it. That was a little frustrating, especially since we are loyal customers. read more

So excited I finally stopped in to get my German Shepherd some new treats since he chews up any treat in less than 60 seconds! I purchased a few new things and while he still ate them fairly quickly..he seemed to enjoy the new tastes of salmon, chicken and bacon, and pumpkin.. he actually savored the flavors.. I'm looking forward to going back to buy more stuff and pick up some cat food too!! They have the cutest tees and I finally found where everyone is getting their "who rescued who" car magnets! I go here to use their self service dog washing. Very easy to access and use, even with taking in both my pitties at the same time. I've only ever encountered one staff member there that wasn't 100% friendly and helpful (maybe he was just having a bad day) Prices for self service wash are competitive with other stores, they always have great quality bathing supplies (pressured hydro wash, soaps, ear cleaner, brushes, blow dryer, towels) on hand, and the best part is when you're done, you get to pile up your soppy towels and walk out! read more

First problem, I call to find out what time the store closes and what time their self service dog wash closes. No one answered. Second problem, we show up at 7:30 and their door says they are open till 9 so we think, great, we have plenty of time. After inquiring about a bath they tell us they actually close at 8 and they have already shut down their baths for the day. They were completely unaccommodating and refused to let us use the baths. We took our business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. read more

My pup loves going here to get a bath! I use the Self-Service stations. They're always clean and never have any issues. The staff is always nice and available to help and offer my pup a treat on the way out. You certainly don't get what you paid for with the grooming. Paid for the 90min grooming for my breed and the 20 min deshed add-on and my dog was done in 75mins. This would of been fine if the dog was freed of loose hair. I vacuumed the car before picking up the dog and now it is covered in fur. No better grooming than a big mass chain store. read more

We've had nothing but great experiences here. Katie has groomed our dog for the last few years and he always returns to us happy and smelling like roses. Self-service dog wash is super easy and convenient - and we're glad they've recently added a frequent bather program. Love this Mutts & Co. I have never used their drop-off grooming services like the other reviewer, so I can't speak to that - but I have used their self-service baths many times. Everything is provided for you, from aprons to scented spritz. My pooch comes out squeaky clean, and the mess is left for someone else to clean up! Apart from grooming/bathing, Mutts & Co has a fantastic selection of dog food, and the rewards program recently allowed me to earn a $100 bag of dog food for free (it took a year to earn it, but it was sure worth it). The staff was also able to offer some great advice when I asked them what to do about itchy ears (coconut oil from Kroger next door). I only wish they carried raw hide bones - I'm not sure if they don't meet their "natural" standards or what - but we have to go elsewhere to find them. read more

I frequently shop here for treats and elk antlers (even though they are cheaper on amazon). I took my 4 month old puppy in for a nail trim and could hear her yelping in the back. The groomer came out visibly irritated and told me I need to play with her paws more because she did not do well. We touch her paws all the time and this was not her first nail trim. I've never heard her cry like that and the groomer's attitude left a bad taste in my mouth not to mention her dewclaws were still sharp. I'll stick to trimming her nails myself or taking her to the vet where I know the techs are gentle and patient. I'll do my shopping somewhere else from now on as well. read more
