Now instead of having the pony cut which is traditional for the breed, she basically has a mullet. I don't know what would lead this to happen, I do see shitzus with similar cuts, but if you're going to be grooming dogs I would have some expectation that a groomer would at least know the standard hair cuts for different breeds (even exotic ones). Can't believe I came in for a nail trim and left with a cut that will take 6-9 months to grow out.

LOL so needless say the last couple days have been a whirlwind of emotion. I wasnt sure what questions to ask and Karen made me feel like we had known each other for years! She reassured me what I needed to do and what I did not need to do. I also felt like she is a very honest person. My second puppy didn't need any grooming but around the eyes she didn't try to sell me on a second groom and while I was there getting my first puppy groomed she just came over and trimmed the second puppy's face for free. I was so impressed with Karen and her staff. They did such a great job on my two 12 week old puppies! I would highly recommend Karen's business you can tell she takes pride in what she does and she is a excellent groomer. I am so happy I found Karen.

I have one before picture of how my youngest Dalmatians (1.5 years old) at the time looked in January vs February when I picked her up....... I will say when I put her in my car I started to cry because she looked so sick. Both of my doggies had a large box of food, there was no food at all when I picked them up, so I'm confused if they actually ate? And did they run out and just not get fed????? My dogs LOVE to eat and are travelers, they are not shy!! I'm putting this review on here now because I've seen similar complaints from this place. I don't know if they specifically hate Dalmatians, but my girls did not deserve this treatment. So I ask. If they didn't eat, why wouldn't I be called?..... when I picked them up on February 20th and offered them water, they drank it down so fast like they had never seen water. The amount of food they ate made them sick, it was a hunger type fast paced eating..... I couldn't believe that a place I trusted so much had let me down this badly!!! So I have to ask do they target specific breeds??? Anyways I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody, and I'm disappointed....... We had to drive to Texas this same week and stopped at an emergency vet on the way because of increasing respiratory distress....... We thought we were gonna lose our poor baby over the incompetence of this day care/ boarding center....... DO BETTER!!!!! Especially when people pay all these extra fees to have the dogs in all day play/baths/suites..... This should have never happened!!!!

I am really struggling leaving this review because I truly loved this business and thought they did…read morean EXCELLENT job grooming my doodle. I was able to get my doodle scheduled for every 6 week grooms in May 2024 after being on a waiting list. I was so thrilled with this business because it made grooms so convenient for us & my pup was SO much happier than being dropped off at a groomer. It was truly the best of both worlds! I always received compliments on how well my pup did during the grooming sessions & his cuts were always PERFECT!! In December 2024, I received a phone call from the owner around 2 weeks after his scheduled groom. The owner informed me they would no longer be able to groom my pup because of his size. When I signed my pup up for grooms, he was around 55lbs and now he's around 65lbs. I understand they do have a 50lb weight limit and was informed they allowed it at first but now he is just too big. They also noted his height, which he is a pretty tall boy. While I completely understand their concern, I am just extremely upset it became an issue over 6 months after the grooms started. His height didn't change much, he just filled out through his body. The main reason I am upset is due to the lack of notice. As a mobile grooming business, they are well aware there is typically a waitlist for these services. While I did get my pup on a waitlist shortly after I was informed of this, he is still on a waitlist for another business. It is now the time for his every 6 week groom & I have no idea when he will be able to get into the new place. I truly wish I would've received more notice for this, even letting me know after his NEXT groom, they would no longer be able to groom him. The owner & groomer are very nice & friendly BUT I do wish this situation was handled differently.

The receptionist said she didn't have any openings that day, but would call me if there was a cancel. Sure enough, they called that same day. I was so impressed with the staff and the routine for recording a new patient. They were so sweet and friendly. Dr. Jeff Shields recognized the polyp and froze it, then sniped it off. My dog was calm and seemed to be in love with him and everyone else there. Dr. Shields was kind, explained everything, including his views on care of teeth, and gave me good information about the Westie breed. This is my 3rd Westie in 35 years, so we were able to agree on everything. He is incredibly well informed! The cost for the visit was very affordable, and being retired for 20 years, I am grateful for that! All in all, I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a compassionate and competent veterinarian. Kudos to them!!
