When I arrived I was given a packet of paperwork to fill out, and then one of the recruiters came to get me. We talked about my previous job experience and what kind of environment I wanted to work in. I had to come back the next week to take a computer test (Word, Excel, Data Entry), and then I was told there was a good match for me. I went into the company a few days later and met with their hiring manager who already knew everything necessary about me and offered me the job. The whole process was really easy and fast, and I'm getting paid pretty well. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a temporary or temp-to-hire job!

I am only available after 3pm on weekdays because of school for work and am open on the weekends. I realize this is a challenge for Opti Staffing as they are primarily staffing for 9-5 positions. I thought I would still give it a go and if there was something available that would be awesome! If not, then no worries. The people I dealt with could just not get their stuff together and were constantly rude or just not paying attention. I primarily talked to Jasmine and while she was pleasant at first, could not follow conversation and asked me about 5 different times the first time we talked what hours I was available for. This got me worried so I talked to someone else another day and they said they would call me if anything showed up. That was fine with me. I got a call a few weeks later and they asked me to come in. I called to confirm a good interview time but was never able to get a hold of my interviewer. I instead kept getting Moira or Jasmine. Moira was extremely rude every time. She even hung up on me once. Jasmine was just dumb or flippant. She kept saying that she would let them know that I called. When I called back a couple of days because of no return call, they had received no messages from me and the position had been filled already.

Well I am very thankful that this institution exists and you can go there and ask for assistance…read morewith important things while you are transitioning looking for work or going to school I have had two caseworkers at Ninestar now and can I just ask to treat some people with dignity and not talk to them with sarcasm I'm sure that there are people that try to abuse the system but I am not and I just want to be spoken to like a normal human being I don't need the sarcasm I hate having to ask for assistance especially because of the ways that one is spoken to it is not dignifying and I cannot wait to be out of school to have a job with good income and not ever need assistance again I hope that never in my life I need assistance again and if you're working with Ninestar I would highly recommend to have all your documents in order and to provide the papers not on the day when you are supposed to provide them but either the same day, the day before, or the day after they request you to bring the stuff in! because it does take them a while to get back with that. you stop in to send emails to leave messages it still takes them a while probably because they are working on a lot of people, given, and they have a high volume of clients but if you don't have time for that then I suggest that you stay on top of them and that you turn in everything sooner way sooner than they wanted and you keep track of everything then maybe things will be done on time from their end and you will receive in time what you need perhaps and of course let's not forget to be thankful that that institution is there at all!! I wanted to give only two stars but I am so thankful for the help and that is why am giving three stars but the way I'm being spoken to I do not appreciate it at all at all at all!
