    Ordered a guitar online advertised as new…read more Woodbrass sent a damaged/B-stock guitar in the wrong, non-Fender, box without any documentation. Woodbrass failed to answer any complaint emails sent on 3 consecutive working days via their own website and less than 20 mins after taking delivery. I paid by Paypal so had to resort to making a Paypal dispute I have yet to find out what is going to be the final outcome but I will never buy from Woodbrass again. I will make sure I tell as many people to avoid them because of the terrible ignorance and silence that passes for customer service. Update: When Woodbrass eventually got back to me they blamed the delays on their holidays - something that could easily have been mentioned on the website, or in an autorespond email etc. Woodbrass agreed to pay for the repair via refund (once an invoice was shown to them) but then became awkward about doing it. They didn't want to follow the Paypal procedure and repeatedly asked me to close the dispute before they refunded - this contradicts Paypal guidelines & also make you even more wary about dealing with them. It was only when I said I wouldn't and would have to escalate it to a Paypal Claim that they refunded me, albeit the next day. So to sum up, Woodbrass knowingly sent a damaged ex-demo guitar, incorrectly packaged without giving me the option to change or cancel my order before it was sent. They also failed to provide quality customer service in a timely manner and then became very awkward when PayPal got involved. I truly believe that without the Paypal intervention this would have been an even worse transaction and, had I agreed to close the dispute before the refund was processed, that I would still be waiting for a refund now. If you absolutely have to do business with these people give yourself as much protection as possible and use either Paypal or a credit card.

    I bought a guitar with a box of cell picks. The request came…read moreto me with the agreed deadlines, but ... The guitar was broken, and the cell picks boxes was broken too. From here began the nightmare. They have a toll-free contact, but only for advice and ordering, customer service phone is in France, so you have to make international call. Anyway it never caught. When you call on the phone, a very limited opening hours from 13:00 to 17:00, they unhook the call and keep you in music for a long time, I was once more than 10 minutes without getting anyone to care for me. I tried to email and so if they contacted me state the problem and was told the paperwork that had to do to apply for replacement of defective material or money. I wanted to buy the guitar and came to trust them a second time, so I prepared the material and generated requesting the return leaves change was given. It took seven days to send the carrier to pick up the broken guitar, and spent another 7 days to notify me that the guitar had reached them. After 14 days waiting, they say that they will do the refund of the money when I asked for change of material, after two or three emails which I did not get an answer what I asked them, and after 3 days, they do me a partial refund of the money, they return the money of the guitar but not for the cell picks. So since I made the request until I have made the PayPal refund, it has spent just a month. 30 days without my money without a product, and in the end I would have returned it. And yet I have to wait for reimbursement from paypal to my card, it may take a month. More than 2 months and I have not receive the 100% of the money paid to Wodbrass. My opinion of this shop is very bad, I can not recommend it to anyone and of course never will buy more in it. After-sales service is very bad, the shop is French and must have someone who knows Spanish, but not too much, because they didn't explain me anything, and they do everything bad, without understand what I request from my e-mails. I hope this helps anyone who has to buy something and chose that store.
