I walked in and was seated right away to get them done. Jenya is absolutely amazing, and I'm in love with her work. I just finished my second microblading appointment here (the touch-up), so I'm writing this with my new set of angry brows. For those who aren't familiar with the microblading process, the procedure consists of two sessions. You pay for both (the price of the second is technically included) after the first appointment. The first session takes about 2-2.5 hours, and the clinic takes their time to explain the steps to you very well. You tell Jenya the style you prefer, and she gives suggestions based on your face shape and her experience. The actual microblading doesn't hurt that much since they first apply an anaesthetic on your brows for about 30 minutes. The first time I saw my brows after microblading, it was honestly a bit shocking, even after I was told that they would initially be very bold. However, exactly like they said, the colour faded to about 50% after a week. I was pleased after that week (a little panicked during the week), and I know that I'll be happy after this week. Despite my scheduling hassles, they handled booking extremely well. It's essential that you book well in advance, since their schedule is full for two months. I asked them to call whenever they had a free slot, so I got my appointment and touch up a lot faster than I expected. For all the money I spent on products, what a shame I had my brows tattooed many many years ago, and this new experience was completely different. First, a numbing cream was applied. Then after waiting a short time, Amal and I talked about my expectations. I am 65 and over plucked in the 70's and now I want fuller brows. Amal is so experienced and very well educated, I completely trusted her advice. She measured the points of the start of my brow, the arch and the end. Drawing in pencil what my brow would look like. I really appreciated that because I couldn't have imagined or visualized my brows looking so amazing. I'm going back in 4 weeks for a touch up, to add a few more hair strokes. Amal suggested that I have Microblading done to add hair like strokes, as I do have some brow hairs and Microshading, to fill. I am so completely happy with the look. I highly recommend Amal and her assistants for top notch service. I'm going back to have a little thin liner applied to my lash line. From all the years of over using a lash curler and too much mascara, another result of the 70's-80's. I'm such a happier woman now that I no longer have to spend a 1/2 hour applying my brows every morning with a brow pen, powder and pomade. Definitely not worth the $280.00 we spent for 3 manicures /pedicures. The pedicures get somewhat of a passing grade as the nail polish lasted 24 hours approx, however all 3 manicures were rushed, steps were skipped, and polish applied over uncleaned cuticles which explains why the nail polish did not last more than 6 hour. I will be requesting a refund for all three mani/pedi as here I am on vacation with my daughters where I wasted time going to another salon to get our manicure/pedi redone. I really wished the experience would have been different as the salon itself is very esthetically pleasing.
