Do not recommend this repair service. My elderly father took his 2005 Nissan in for a tune up and…read morerepair as it was missing. They installed the wrong plugs in the vehicle ( Not OEM or recommended by Nissan) and replaced the "wires". Charged $$$. Received the vehicle back and it ran worse than before. Took it back and they kept it another week, told us that they needed to order a part that would take a month to get( solenoid). We ended up taking the vehicle to another certified mechanic who advised that Strickland's installed the wrong plugs, didn't change the intake gaskets which are supposed to be part of a tune up and should have picked up the solenoid issue on the original diagnostic report. New mechanic had parts ordered and the car running in great shape within 2 days. Contacted Strickland to discuss the issues and kept being told they would call us back. Finally made a personal visit to the shop only to be told 1) they ordered the parts that the computer told them to and that is when they could find the solenoid 2) they meant boots since there are no wires on the spark plugs 3) they don't really work on newer vehicles... since when is a 2005 considered a newer vehicle. 4) the intake gaskets "looked ok" so they didn't replace them. 5) the mechanic must have misread the original defect and didn't capture the solenoid issue We posted a review on Facebook detailing the same and Strickland's has removed the ability to see all reviews from their page. Definitely a 'shade-tree" mechanic and not recommended
