We didn't stay in so we wandered the store side a bit. There were a lot of ready-made meals like pies and sausage rolls and ice creams. You could pick up a tasty sweet treat, some freshly baked breads, and a lot of lovely dessert options. They also had some local goodies like County Bounty sodas, jams, teas, and others. I picked up a few local goodies and then a cinnamon bun (which was massive!) and a ginger cookie. The ginger cookies were delicious. Soft, molassas cookies with that chewy texture. The cinnamon bun was huge and more bread-y than sweet, which I really liked. It had such a great flavour. We wanted to grab some pies too but we couldn't bring them on the road with us. Definitely gotta bring a cooler next time we're heading into Kingston. The staff are also so friendly here and do their best to get through the crowd in an organized and fast way. We had to reheat the sausage roll at home as they did not offer to do it in store, which was fine since we weren't planning on eating it right away. We were in town for a day and had just enjoyed the best dinner nearby along Brock. How lucky were we to find out there's a gelato spot down the street! They had multiple staff taking orders ahead to keep things moving, which was super smart! The fruit sortbettos are amazing. Lots of fresh ingredients used and a lovely refreshing flavour. We got the pear and also tried the mandarin flavours. I missed the pineapple one sadly but it sounded so good. We did get black currant but that one was a bit too sour for us. I love that they have fun fruit options other than the usual berries or citrus. On the gelato side, we got the maple walnut and earl grey. There were SOO many choices - it was hard to narrow it down. But wow was I really happy with the decisions we made. Honestly all so yummy, it's hard to just pick two. Best earl grey gelato I've ever had! Such a great, strong tea flavour. It's a super popular spot and it seems like they swap up the flavours once in a while. We're excited to stop by again next time we're in Kingston.
