Absolutely amazing experience…read more Anita and Tina were incredible and so accommodating. I reserved a room for my birthday where we were allowed to BYOB, make our own music playlist, and bring snacks! I am the most indecisive person & Anita really was patient with me while I chose a painting. She answered all my questions & any concerns ASAP. Tina was a great artist who did not let us fail, which we all thought was likely! They both made this day so memorable and perfect. Halfway through we played a game of trivia and had a dance-off. There is nothing they could have done better, everything was incredible & our paintings turned out wonderful! It is also in a great, central location with plenty parking. The studio is super clean & cute as well!! 10/10 would recommend & I plan on coming back real soon! There is not enough great things to say about Studio #304!

When you enter you have to check in and out. There are different sections based on the needs of the patients, like memory care, rehab, long term stays, and etc. They have coffee at the entrance for guest and sometimes have muffins and pastries. The residents have a good sized modern room with a TV, bed, and desk. There's also a spacious bathroom with a walk in shower and cabinets and drawers come with each room. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The family members can choose to eat there also for a fee for each meal. They also have different activities and events for the residents. Cute little luau's, petting zoo, karaoke, games, and etc. There's also vending machines on site. They have pickup/driver services if your loved one needs transport. There are nurses and cna's available on each wing. Most of the staff is friendly. I didn't favor the director Andrell. For her position, you'd think she'd make guest feel welcome. But my first interaction with her, she was rude and condescending!! I truly hope someone will bring to her attention that her brash and unfriendly demeanor should be corrected as she is a higher up at this business!! This is probably one of the better facilities in the area, but there is still room for improvement. As they are short staffed at times. Family members are welcomed 24 hours, but after 6pm you'll have to ring the side doorbell for access. The parking lot and facility is spacious! They have rocking chairs out front for lounging. There's also onsite physical therapy. The therapist I met seemed professional and nice. The Cna's and nurses make rounds to change the patients, bath then, take vital signs, and administer medication. They also offer alternative food options, if your loved one has dietary restrictions, such as pureed meals.. All in all the facility is nice and you can be comforted knowing your family member is taken care of. Check them out!!

This is a rather mixed review of the new Bistro at Victorian Station. It had been a very long time…read moresince I had eaten at the former Victorian Station Tea Room, and the Bistro has replaced whatever replaced the tea room. We went for lunch on Tuesday and the place was closed. No hours posted. We tried again on Thursday and voila! it was open. All the tables now are downstairs in the former Ute's gift shop. It is very eclectic in that room with mismatched everything. Upstairs where we used to dine has sofas and coffee tables. I gotta say, the place seems musty and the vibe took me back to some places I'd rather forget about from the early 70's. Parking is scant, kind of a "it's ok to park on the grass" kind of place. I was dining with 2 friends and one would give the place 3 and one a 4. My friend who would give it a 4 said the water was the best water he ever tasted. So there you go. There was one long table reserved but we were the only guests. Before we left 2 more tables had guests. The waitress was very sweet. She handed us paper menus and on the back was a coupon saying free iced tea with lunch purchase, so when she took our drink order I said I would have the special on the back - the iced tea. "Oh no," she told me. "That is a coupon for a flyer they had passed out previously and they just used the flyers to print the menus to save paper." For crying out loud. You give me a menu with a large coupon stating I get a free iced tea, and tell me it doesn't apply. I'm sorry but right there, the iced tea that would have probably cost you five cents to honor, should have been provided. How am I supposed to know the info on the menu isn't valid? So I ordered the afore mentioned water. I believe we all ordered the chicken salad. It was OK. I wouldn't get it again but the menu is still 'under development.' I was told.I asked if the potato salad was made with mayo or mustard, and she told me mayo with a teensy bit of mustard. I ordered it and out came a very yellow mustard filled potato salad that I did not like at all. It was like the kind you get from Food Lion in a big tub and bring to a pot luck when you are too busy to make anything, even though I'm sure it was made fresh. My friend liked it and the other one got potato chips - def NOT homemade. They have live music at some times I guess, and my friend who is an aficionado of live music said he would come back there. He probably won't though. I think he just liked the place better than I did. I can't imagine the sound in there if a band was performing because the tables are right up to the performing space. Since we visited we added it to our list of places for lunch, but the two times I have suggested it I've received a resounding, "No!." So when I will be able to give it another try I don't know. Hopefully before it changes hands again.

I don't like that we can't see inside the classrooms. I understand that parents inside the studio would cause a distraction, but for being in this specific location (Jefferson Ave one at east) it's been there for over 15+ years. You'd think the school would have invested in some camera system where the parents could watch from their phones or something. Again, my daughter is three so I'm not expecting a whole lot. But, it would be nice to know what she's learning. Also, I don't like how I was asked to bring my daughter to a 3:30 or 4:30 time slot or that I could get a refund, as the school needed to accommodate more students. I understand that, but I do not get off work till about 4:30. So after trying one more week I was going to ask for the refund, but then another instructor told me to keep my daughter in with the 6 year olds since there's only 4 weeks of class left. It seems like the teachers are great, I'm not knocking them at all. I think it's more management and the whole building set up. The parking lot is a nightmare to try and get out of if you're parked in the back, mainly. If you register your kid here, park at 1st advantage to save some time.

I asked for her to come on a Thursday and Friday morning, with about 15-20 kids per day. She booked us immediately with no fees at all. She charged us $20 per child for an 11X14 canvas. I am very satisfied and impressed with everything, from calling and booking, to choosing the design, to the very end result. The children had a wonderful time and we didn't have to do anything, she came early to set up and cleaned up. The only negative thing I would say about this would be the fact that she did have to change the original days from Thursday and Friday, to Wednesday and Thursday. This at first was an inconvenience to us but we managed to deal with it. Also, it was a challenge for us to get an exact head count the night before. Working with parents who like to wait until the last minute for sign up makes it hard for us to pin an exact number of children. Anyway, it didn't matter. I loved it. The children loved it. The price was very reasonable and Heather was very nice and professional. We will be booking her from now on every summer!
