Oh yes it was as fun as it sounds. The guy who arrived was prompt and explained everything dishwasher related. He even made it sound easy in girl terms. The dishwasher was installed and running in a few minutes and he also gave us the manual (in case of further electrical problems), a whole tub of dishwashing powder specific for the German brand we received (score!) and a bottle of rinse aid. As two students who don't have a budget for dishwashing powder of rinse aid - this was greatly, greatly appreciated! The guy also left us his card and told us not to hesitate to call if we had any problems or any other questions. I'm sure two girls can figure out how a dishwasher functions, but it was sweet of him to offer.

So with the all or nothing approach I decided to venture to a local laundromat with not only the blanket but also all my curtains. I liked this one and would go there again when the need arises. It's off the road in a small block of shops with parking right out the front. I walked in and it was clean and tidy. I put on 3 machines with curtains and one with the blanket. Then walked next door to get a drink from the deli while I waited. Best part was being able to use a few machines at once (they have double and even triple load machines so fit more in each load as well) so I did the equivalent of I think 10 loads in the time it takes to do one. Dryers are huge and worked really well. Big tip thought before you go - take LOTS of coins!!!! I took heaps and still had to ask the nice man in the deli next door for some extra.

It's amazing being in a centre with so many kids all making noise at dinner time and then a few hours later you, with any luck, have most of them down for sleep. It's also odd with parents coming to drop off and pick up kids at unusual hours sometimes. But they do offer a fantastic unique service and their pricing is still comparable to other centres for care on a per session basis. Even though it's in the city there is still a reasonable outside play area for them here. If you NEED ongoing care I suggest you get on the waiting list as soon as possible though!!!

The centre is run by qualified childcare workers and offers a great number of services. Wholesome and nutritious meals are served and the price is included in the overall expense of the Centre. They take on children from birth to school age (around 4 or 5) and have different rooms and areas to cater to different ages and needs. The staff have planned activities for the children everyday and cater to those with learning difficulties or those who may have social or interaction problems.

It is over two levels as well, with the smaller cages on the second level. So, be mindful, if you need a smaller space, you will be using a lift to get your gear up. My cage has a light in it which turns on after keying in your code at the storage entrance. The space is clean and I think it is pretty well priced. One thing that I love about this place, is that you have access to a rubbish & cardboard bin. This is so great for me as I store a lot of merch and event gear here. It's great to know that I can get rid of any unused cardboard. If you need to spend time here, there are facilities and access to a small boardroom. Have a chat to reception if you need to use it. I think that this is mostly used by reps for companies. The only thing I would love for this storage area, is that it would have extended hours. That it would be open past 5pm. Maybe even to 6pm? This is one of those facilities it is probably best to come to and store your stuff in the daylight rather than in the middle of the night - not because it is a spooky place - actually because it is a beautiful place, this is the heart of historic Norwood and this is the site of an old factory that made soft drinks. The building is quite beautiful to look at, so I like to visit and just admire the building. Otherwise it is a clean and surreal kind of place depending on what you are storing. I had a house full of belongings stored here for several months (the prices are pretty moderate as long as you are employed) so it made the place kind of strange. I could roll up the roller door in my area and more or less look directly at a culmination of a coupe of decades. Quite odd.
