Our doggo was beyond sick, we almost lost her. But the vet was amazing, figured out what was wrong, and took great care of her. When we picked her up at the end of the day, she was already feeling so much better!

I love Murray Animal Hospital. Their prices are reasonable, and all of their staff is helpful and friendly. Always greeted with a pleasant smile when I come in. The veterinarians there are so helpful and truly care about your animals. i've had teeth cleanings, annuals, and vaccinations done there, and have never been unhappy with their service. If you want a reasonably priced Animal Hospital with a great staff, go to Murray Animal Hospital!

They neutering our rescue puppy and were great. When we took the cone off to clean and put back on too tight - our puppy's neck started to bleed. We called them, and they told us to bring him in as soon as possible. We did and they shaved his neck and gave us a antibiotic. They had us to a follow-up 5 days later. So nice - very thorough. I was very pleased. My sister has horror stories about some of the vets in Draper. Who are not as good as Murray Animal Hospital.

Let me assure you that the 4.5 star rating was not earned by Murray Animal clinic this is Healing Hearts rating. I was out of town but I didn't want my pup to miss his apt. My son in law took him in at 830 am I was not told that this was no longer Healing Hearts animal clinic. When my son in law got there they called me and the tech told me that for 150 for blood test and 40 for the visit they could give me a pretty good idea what was going on. I agreed to the 190. When I got there at 4pm my dog had been there all day. And the cost was a little short of 280. I told them that I talk to the tech and she quoted me 150 for the blood test and 40 for the visit and I was only prepared to pay that amount. They told me that was before the doctor decided to send the tests out and that they also was doing a stool test. Had they told me it would be BETWEEN 150 and 200 For the test I might have done it. The doctor came to talk to me he wanted to tell me how my conversation with the tech went. I explained to him that is not how the conversation went and that I was willing to pay the 200. Taylor the doctor told me that's not how it works and I could just pay for the visit and leave. So my dog that is deaf was in a cage all day and not given water all day for Nothing. I paid the 40 and that will be the last they will ever get from me. I have paid a lot of money to healing hearts and would have paid thousands over the course of the life span of my pup, so would have my friends and family that love there fur babies as much as myself. For 80 bucks to make it right with me, they lost thousands. As I was walking out the door a lady said, "oh, you are having issues with the new ownership to?" I have found others that feel the same why. So if you want to be mislead in price, be talked down to this is the plans for you. Im leaving a few of what others have to say as well so you can get the real feel of what this place is really like. it's not just me.

This is Bernardo. Healing Hearts saved his life!

We brought our 1 year old cat, Bernardo, to Healing Hearts when he was in very bad shape from a bad infection and what was presumably cysts that had ruptured. Prior to this we had taken him to Banfield Pet Hospital inside of PetSmart in Salt Lake City. They charged us over $300 and couldn't figure out what was wrong with him or how to treat him. They were pressuring us to spend more money to do more tests with very little hope of determining the problem. They seemed to be primarily concerned with money and seemed to lack deductive reasoning skills. When we found the ruptured open sores, we couldn't even consider going back to Banfield, so we looked in the Yellow Pages. My wife found Healing Hearts ad and made the appointment. Right from the start our experience was 180 degrees apart from our experience at Banfield. They were all very interested and attentive, warm and caring, and that was just at the front counter, moments after coming through the door. Immediately the tech, Devon, examined him and gave us a preliminary assessment. They started caring for Bernardo immediately. The whole time he was in their care, they went above and beyond with their care for him and their kindness and thoroughness with us. It was very affordable as well. Most importantly, Bernardo has recovered fully and is back to his wonderful healthy self. The tech and the doctor at Healing Hearts really know there stuff and instilled confidence in their expertise; and all the staff are so loving! I love all of the people there and recommend them to all.

The vet is really good, she was able to save my dogs cracked tooth because she is specially trained to ado sealant and basically repair the tooth where most vets just pull it if it's broken. I was so happy they could save her large canine that she mostly chews with. The price was fair as well. Would highly recommend. Her teeth are perfectly white now. They also offer a sedation free dental cleaning service if the dog doesn't have major teeth problems like the broken tooth my dog has. If the dog has a good temperament they can clean the teeth with no sedation which would be much more affordable and safer for the dog. I am planning to return for the sedation free cleaning in the future.

I now feel compelled to re-share this as they are nominated for multiple undeserving 'Best of Utah' awards...) "Front desk staff are rude and without empathy. They told us they would call back with test results in X days and that a prescription would be ready for pickup in X days. That day came and went without contact. When we called them asking if the prescription was ready, and if there were test results, both were ready. But there was audible annoyance that we called them despite them not doing what they said they would, when they said they would. Dr. Lynette is nice but she has too much on her plate to do more than give a cursory glance at your pet's chart. She did not give our cat the attention she needed, and needed us to remind her of all of our cat's issues during each visit. We had an emergency and left a frantic, frightened message asking for help. Without any answer, we took our cat to an emergency vet. They immediately identified pre-existing issues and needs that Dr. Lynette failed to notice. Dr. Lynette treated our cat's symptoms and made zero effort in finding the underlying cause. This resulted in 2 traumatic experiences: 1) We had to put our poor sweet cat down. We lost a beloved member of our family. 2) We found out our beloved girl had been in pain for MONTHS and was quietly suffering because of undiagnosed and untreated issues - issues that the emergency vet eyeballed in their FIRST VISIT and that we were told weren't an issue at this vet. 3) That frantic, tear-filled voicemail that was left shortly before we took our cat to the ER? NEVER ANSWERED. How callous can you be to hear someone crying and asking for help and just...ignore it? We haven't been there in months, since our cat obviously passed away. A competent vet would have maybe noticed we weren't calling for our monthly prescription refill. Or that they never followed up on our cat's chronic UTI that was "being monitored" by them. Or that we are overdue for vaccines. Or that we are overdue for an annual check up. Nope. Nothing. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM. THEY CANNOT HANDLE ANYTHING BEYOND THE MOST BASIC CHECK UP TYPE CARE." I thought this was worth sharing again, as we are still heartbroken and no one deserves for this to happen to their furry family members. Rest in peace my sweet Cocoa girl. I will love you until the end of time. I'm sorry I failed you.

I found a dog on the side of the road and rescued him to foster him. I went in to get him checked out so that I could know about any health problems before he was adopted to his forever home, and to get him some immunizations just in case he was behind. During this appt they signed me up for a Paw Plan, stating that would be the cheapest option and not mentioning that it would be several hundred dollars when I canceled the plan at his adoption. So here we are, I have spoken to their billing department (Quentin who was rude and aggressive from the beginning) and their manager (Brittney who spoke to me with a complete lack of empathy and told me it wasn't her job to explain to me why we couldn't come to a compromise over +-$100), neither of whom has been able to explain to me why I should be paying hundreds of dollars for an adopted dog to get two immunizations when I could have gone any number of other places for immunizations that would have costed me less than the Paw Plan payments. They were rude and completely uninterested in a compromised cost, and they have absolutely lost my business forever. Don't expect for any longevity of a perfect client who has paid tens of thousands of dollars over the years, to get you any special consideration. Just a small amount of compromise would have left me feeling better about the interaction and about Holladay Vet in general. I would STRONGLY suggest that Holladay Vet invest in some customer service with their billing. The vet techs and people working at the desk clearly have some; it would be a good idea to clean up the back half so that people like myself don't feel so betrayed and taken advantage of. I would suggest going to ANY other vet clinic in town.
