They go as far as helping you as much as they can and do the hard work for you. Last time my health insurance wasn't providing the necessary info to get my meds but Walgreens made a few calls to get this resolved! They have a really good rewards program on which you get to earn money. I am not big on shopping here so i usually provide my fiance's phone number so she can get the credit and they never have an issue with this. Overall i recommend these guys for when you need any quick shopping or your meds.

On the NE Corner of I-69C (Highway 281) and Montecristo, this is a relatively new and nice Stripes…read moreconvenience store with both gas pumps and diesel for trucks. There is easy access off and on the expressway. They have lots of parking and room to maneuver for both cars and 18 wheelers. Though, it is not a full truck stop as there are no showers, nor a truckers' lounge. It is nicely landscaped and looks clean. There is a main entrance on both the east and west side of the building and parking all around. The parking lot is well lit at nights. As most Stripes, this one has a Laredo Taco kitchen and offers their famous "breakfast tacos" (burritos) with freshly made flour tortillas and many filling options. For the price, it's hard to beat for a hearty breakfast. They also serve lunch burritos and plates. The store sells lots of drinks, both cold and hot, snacks, and an assortment of basic groceries, first aide items, over-the-counter meds, car stuff like oil and fluids, ice, etc. I haven't seen the bathrooms, but I assume since it's a relatively new build it's in good working order and nice. The rest of the store seems well maintained. The clerks seem efficient and were able to calculate how to give me correct change when the bill came to 19.27 and I gave them a twenty dollar bill and two pennies... Their gas prices are a tad higher than just down the road at Murphy Gas, but after all, it's a convenience store.

They're either waiting on the bacon and eggs are they're waiting on the taco itself. That's just very disappointing. By the way, the quality of their tacos is awesome. This is the local "go to" for inexpensive, filling and EXCELLENT breakfast tacos. Try a "Q" - with or without the bacon! When our family leaves the RGV for an "on the road again" adventure, we inevitably stop at a Stripes to get breakfast tacos to eat on the road. For one thing, easy to eat while driving/traveling. But more important, we know that we won't get a really good breakfast taco in an excellent homestyle tortilla until we return home. Did I say they are also inexpensive? Often 2 for $3.00, and 1 is about right for me. Unless you are an oil field worker, roofer or do lawn care, it will likely be enough for you as well. In addition to the excellent tortillas and fresh ingredients, the salsa they serve is great as well. Nothing fancy here. Just good tacos to go.
