I've been going to this Murphy's for years and years well before the renovation took place. I went in and requested $21 to be put into my tank and they gave him the $21 walk out back to my car and for about 5 minutes I'm messing around with the pump trying to get it to pump my gas . I look back to the front door and I see more and more people going in and coming out but my pump is still telling me that the transaction is still in progress. So I go back inside and I asked the attendant who did my transaction like hey is it good to go? As of 12/24/2015 the lowest gas was $1.91, mid $2.36 and high $2.56. Around the area, most gas stations' lowest gas prices were $2.35. Wish they had another entrance other than walmart's plaza which is always busy but 10 extra minutes don't hurt when the deal is good. The entrance area was chaotic but most of the traffic was going to Walmart to do Christmas shopping. The gas station itself has gas pumps on both sides of the convenient store. They have two entrances into the gas station but it's better to enter from the second one towards the right side since it seems less busy. This gas station is located in Delray Beach and very close to Boca Raton on Military Trail Road. I would come here again for the amazing gas prices compared to other gas stations near there. read more

The gas station isn't bad, I guess but there are a lot of variables that make it not great. The biggest plus is that it's clean. The downside is that it's extremely busy. Coupled with the fact that they have a lot of pumps in a very small area, you're kind of asking for a frustrating experience. Sadly, it's because people don't know how to pull in and out of spaces and take entirely too long to do something simple as pumping gas, but all the same, I was super stressed here because I felt like I sat for the longest time waiting for people to just get out of my way. I'm actually going to review a gas station. Not just any gas station; the Walmart gas station. I have been gassing up here for about a year. Ever since I made the move to Delray this has been my station of choice because the gas is inexpensive, right on par with Costco but a membership card is not needed. I leave my house super early for work. I'm usually out the door by 6:45 the latest. I prefer to fill my car on the way to work and this is about the time I stop in here. They have several pumps as well as a tiny open air store. I usually grab a bottle of water or some sort of snack and the girls are always friendly. Let me tell you they don't have it easy. I have witnessed all sorts of crazy people harass these cashiers and I have even asked them if I should call the police on more than one occasion. I'm afraid of my own shadow so I always have my phone in my hand, just in case. Don't come after work, please don't. People are rushing and they get crazy. It literally becomes a freak show and I don't think the cast of characters will impress you. It's sad at how rude people can be. And selfish. And it amazes me that some people have no manners. They feel it's okay to maneuver their car in front of yours, even if you've been patiently waiting for your turn at the pumps. Forget manners, what about common sense? Some people seem to lack both. Even with all the crazy people, I still get my gas here. It's not bad at the break of dawn. But be alert of your surroundings at all times and lock your car while your filling up. This is still South Florida and your at a 24 hour gas station that's in the parking lot of a 24 hour Walmart. Enough said. The low gas prices, a good selection of snacks and drinks, and being open 24 hours really makes this my favorite gas station. read more

Card skimmer at work. Manager does not care. They took me for around $50, then they took my card numbers to the computer to try and make an online purchase. My credit union declined them, thank God. I told the large, white "manager" and he quickly dismissed me, talked over the top of me and ushered me out the door with a "have a nice day!" I am contacting the regional manager and if I don't get satisfaction in this matter, I will take the issue all the way to the CFO of the company. Be careful here -- the "manager" said the card readers are checked every three months. They fail because my card has been used illegally at Murphy for longer than three months. That was either a lie, or their reader is failing them. Murphy is the only place I ever use that card so I know it's them. BE CAREFUL. Pay cash only and keep an eye on your bank statement. read more

BEWARE OF THE MURPHY GAS STATION ON PERDIDO BEACH DRIVE IN ORANGE BEACH, AL. I filled up with diesel fuel at this station three times within a week and a half while I was visiting the area. After the third fill up, my Ford F-350 Super Duty warning light came on indicating water in the fuel system. I immediately called the Murphy station and was referred to their customer service complaint line. I was provided with a claim form from Murphy that the Ford dealer completed indicating water in the fuel system and it had to be drained. I submitted the form along with my receipts for the fuel purchases, the dealer repair bill and my lodging expense since we had to spend an extra night due to the issue. I sent two subsequent emails to Dedrick Thompson, Senior Customer Service Agent/Fuel Contamination, to follow up; however, he never replied. Finally, today I was able to reach Mr. Thompson via telephone. Mr. Thompson was very quick to reply my claim was denied. He stated there was no indication of any water in their pumps. As I explained to Mr. Thompson we did not stick the garden hose in our fuel tank and during our time at Orange Beach, we only filled up at the Perdido Beach Drive location. Plus, we had an invoice from the dealer stating the problem. I will NEVER buy fuel from a Murphy station. My claim was $500. It's not the money, but the principle of the way it was handled. Easily cheapest gas in the area, always. $2.14 today...Attendant is always amicable and efficient too...Plenty of food, drink and other options in the open air store area in the middle of the pumps...adjacent to Wal-Mart. Convenient from north or east Boca and southern Delray...my stop for gas every time possible. read more

They get a one, only because their gas is the least expensive in the area. This gas station is always crowded. The customers are the most rude people ever. In order to save 5 cents a gallon, they get into verbal and sometimes physical altercations. Its not uncommon for people refusing to move so you can pass, out of their fear of loosing their crappy place in line. They lean on the horn constantly, maybe they think it will make the pumps go faster. You better have a working check or credit card, if you pay cash, it can be a 15 minute wait in line. Going up the street and paying a .75 cents more a fill up is totally worth your life or stress going to this little portal to hell. Just filled up at this station. Pumps are old and beat. Pressed Regular. It decided i wanted Premium instead. Put 3 gallons in before i caught it. Restarted with Regular by tricking the pump . So i ended up paying 3.07 at a 2.83 pump. (Premium was 3.38). Clever way for them to take advantage of unsuspecting folk. read more
