The Advent memorial room and facilities are intimate, private and a beautiful setting. We could bring in food and snacks to share with friends and family who attended the memorial. I can't thank Coreen and her team enough for all the help and support they provided my family. I highly recommend Advent when you suffer the loss of a loved one.

Months after the service the staff has stayed in touch with me and offered any assistance needed, even during the pandemic. I am a journalist and had written about funeral services for years. Special shout-out to the funeral director, Maria Vargas-Rivera, who was incredibly patient with our many questions, back-and-forth edits for the death certificate, and obituary. She sent papers ahead of time and scheduled the witness cremation (which must be requested in advance if you want this service) with respect and discretion. We received his ashes ahead of time and with the proper identification tags. Cannot thank Maria enough for her kindness and attention. Chad and Justin assisted with the witness cremation. Very punctual and professional. I'm sure it's not a comfortable situation for them, but I appreciated they were very direct and straightforward with this morbid, but necessary process. Very competitive and reasonable costs compared to other funeral homes in the area, but more importantly, they were very understanding and thoughtful. Hopefully I won't have to use them again too soon in the future, but I highly recommend Everly Funeral Home and will do so to friends and family.

Remember "You" are in charge of your deceased family member not the funeral home. It's totally unnecessary to rip off family members handling the arrangements for an additional 1,000.00 pocket money for the funeral home to handle your loved ones after prearrangements has already been made and "paid for". Also if the removal person shows up to your residence to remove your loved one dressed inappropriately with a hoodie on and casual baggy pants like he's going to a ball game "as a representative of the funeral home" send him away call the funeral Home or another funeral home and "demand" someone that will respect your home and your family that will show up dressed appropriately with at least dress slacks and a decent shirt casual or dress shoes and don't accept them requesting your help to remove your loved one from your residence they should come prepared with two people remember you're paying for this proper service and you tell the funeral home what time to come to your residence to pick up your loved one if you're waiting for other family members to come to your home before your love one is removed from your residence generally they come automatically within 90 minutes but if you need more time let them know when you call to notify them of the passing of your loved one. .

Two of them failed to disclose all their fees until I asked additional questions (based on my research), one of them was double the price of the other three, and the fourth one was Direct Cremation Services. I met with a gentleman named Kip, who didn't try to upsell me, and gave me a package that met my requests. The costs were significantly lower than the other three places. He assured me that Direct Cremation Services would take care of everything, and explained both the logistical process and the paperwork/payment process. When my mother passed away, on a weekend, Kip returned my (notification) call, emailed me the link to take care of the documents, and immediately send his team out to transport my mother's remains. He told me the paperwork could wait until Monday. Thereafter, everything went as promised, and I picked up my mother's "cremains" yesterday. An unbelievably smooth process during a difficult time. I can't recommend this place enough.
