Who would think that a simple under $3 bean, cheese, and green chile burrito could be so good! If you know green chile, you can tell that the chile they use is freshly roasted and not from frozen. It makes a difference and very few restaurants do this. Thinking about buying some of these, taking them home and smothering with some red and topping with some cheese. I digress. Can't wait to try their green chile stew, posole and menudo. $11.98 for 32 ounces! Menudo, Wednesday through Sunday. Posole, everyday. Green chile stew, Monday and Tuesday. The price today, March 12 is $3.99 a gallon! As most stations, they also have amenities like drinks, snacks, emergency travel supplies, but better than other stations, you can buy reverse osmosis water by the multiple gallons.... bring your own bottles or buy bottles provided there for fill and refill. They also sell baby chicks, and other farm supplies-equipment, feed and animals during certain months. Store attendants may offer to carry full bottles out for you if needed but my hero is always just behind me so no help is needed for me!! The Staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive, depending on your needs. Give this local station some attention...it means a lot when your local businesses don't gouge you when National prices go up or when the economy is down!!
