He had most of the information you might want on the card, but his name was missing. I asked his name. It is Leonard. He said I could pick up my chairs the following Monday. Called Monday and was told I could pick them up Tuesday, July 29. I called again on the 29th, at which time Leonard said they were ready. When I got there and saw them, I was so appalled that I just paid the man and left. I figured that if he had the nerve to pass them off as a quality job there was no point in telling him how disappointed I was with the quality of his work. The cording was applied very crudely. Nail heads were exposed, some appeared to have been cut off and the sharp ends were exposed. He hot glued the cording on and slopped on so much glue that it was visible. Ninety dollars per chair for quality work would have been very reasonable. Ninety dollars for the poor quality work was $90 too much. He got to me once and won't have a second chance to do it again. If anyone asks me about an upholsterer, I will gladly tell them to steer clear. I've included pictures.
