We had a hole in the front seat upholstery of our car that was growing in size. I contacted Academy Upolstery via Yelp, to ask about getting it patched, or the entire piece of vinyl replaced. He recommended replacing the entire piece since the material was very taught and there wasn't enough material to work with. I got a response within a few hours. The owner was very communicative. The price was very fair, far less than comparable places I was finding. The seat looks great and feels great. Very friendly, warm and professional service. I would defienlty reccommend this place again for any further sercice. read more

This is an amazing upholstery shop! The owner is an honest, hardworking businessman who does incredible work. I called about 6 places in the Fresno /Clovis area about 2 chairs I wanted to reupholster. The price quoted was the best price of any shop. Also, their turn around time was 2 weeks; some shops were as long as 3 months The owner even offered to pick up and deliver my chairs. My chairs look better now than when I first bought them!! The workmanship is excellent. It is worth driving out to Sanger if you need their services. It will be well worth it. read more

This is the best upholstery company in town. No one else can beat Jerry's friendly customer service - he is the real deal for upholstering. They will come pick up your furniture if needed, and they will also return it in a timely fashion. They will save pieces that are memorable for you in case you want to use them for other cushions or accessories. Jerry is available via messaging and if you have any questions, he is very knowledgeable. He was the first one to reply to me for an estimate - the other companies gave me bologna, waited 2 days for an estimate and Jerry was already done with my pieces. You will not regret it. Restore those old pieces! read more
