This is an amazing upholstery shop! The owner is an honest, hardworking businessman who does incredible work. I called about 6 places in the Fresno /Clovis area about 2 chairs I wanted to reupholster. The price quoted was the best price of any shop. Also, their turn around time was 2 weeks; some shops were as long as 3 months The owner even offered to pick up and deliver my chairs. My chairs look better now than when I first bought them!! Had an emergency furniture repair of our sofa. Called Jerry at Academy Upholstery and he came to the house to give it a quick look and a quote for repair. We took the sofa into the shop next day (day before Christmas!) and Jerry replaced the broken lumbar support and actually replaced it with something sturdier. We picked up our sofa day after Christmas. The repair was done in a quick timely and professional manner. Jerry knows furniture! We are so happy with this repair and highly recommend him.
