We submitted our daughter's photo to Munchkins Management and received the email that we "had been accepted", although I highly doubt anyone is rejected....so we went to the "interview" paid our $450 and a photoshoot was arranged. Photoshoot? More like a cattle call. When we arrived there were lots of babies, kids, teens lined up for their 10 minute photoshoot. Our baby was asked to sit on a cold concrete floor and given directions like "she better smile soon because we have other kids to get to".
The biggest disappointment to us was the quality of the photos - to say they are dreadful would be an understatement. Every aspect of the photography was unprofessional, from the setting itself to the lighting - we take far better photos on our iPhone.
When you join Munchkins Management you will get smothered in love about how adorable your baby is and how she has been put forward for jobs etc.....by coincidence, this all stops after you have paid your money.
I have no idea if they are legit or a scam, but what I can say is that the quality of the photography is simply abysmal. We passed the photos on to a professional photographer for a second opinion and he agreed that they were nowhere near professional quality.
We offered to supply our own professionally taken photographs yet Munchkins Management knocked this back.
When we raised our concerns with Munchkins we received what looked like a "cut and paste, insert name here" verbose email explaining what great value for money their service is, with nonsensical points like "Unlimited website maintenance to ensure that your profile is always up to date and correct"
These guys are simply taking advantage of every parents idea that their child is a super model in the making. read more
