Da wir den Eindruck hatten, dass es ansonsten ein sehr kurzer Abend werden könnte, wollten wir erstmal nur die Vorspeisen bestellen. Daraufhin wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es, Zitat: "extrem lange" dauern würde, wenn wir nicht direkt das komplette Essen bestellen würden, da wir ansonsten "in der Schlange ganz nach hinten" rutschen würden... Also komplett bestellt und der Abend war nach gut einer Stunde beendet. Zudem haben wir Wasser mit Kohlensäure bestellt, stattdessen eine Flasche mit Leitungswasser für 6€ erhalten. Kann man machen... Wir sind eine Stunde aus Münster gefahren und wollten uns einen besonderen Abend mit indischem Essen abseits des Üblichen machen. Hat eindeutig nicht geklappt. Abgesehen davon, dass die Räumlichkeiten nicht sonderlich gemütlich sind, war das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen wirklich gut. Für einen richtig schönen Abend braucht es aber mehr als Bekanntheit aus den Privatsendern. Schade! Unfortunately the main dishes where too much chichi and had way too little bold authentic Indian flavors. On the other side the pricing was hefty for what has been served. India remains a very remote place and this place has lots of room for improvement! I'd like to see a naan bread to die for (get a naan oven) a tandoori chicken and some looong cocked stew like "curry" dishes on the menu of any Indian place.

This place has changed owners a bit in the past few years and it used to be called "Zum Goldenen Arm" but now they just call it "Golden Arm"...very modern for my little sleepy town of Soest!
