Went in for pain/injury to foot. Visit was waste of time/money. Nurse Practitioner, Mark, was abrupt, hurried and gave no instruction for aftercare (although he put notes in the visit summary that he had). I am obese, there I said it. Mark kept insisting that I had a history of diabetes, high blood pressure and gout. Even writing in his visit notes that I DENIED having these things -- despite having access to my full medical history showing none of these. He also stated he knew I was there for 'THE shot -- everyone is" (Toradol) which I hadn't known about beforehand and didn't take as it interferes with my current anti-stroke meds. The only good thing to come from this appointment was the word GOUT. I went home, did my own research and have requested a uric acid test from my primary doctor. This urgent care is a joke!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!! The level of incompetence at this branch is astonishing. My daughter had tummy pain for 4 weeks. She went to this joke of a clinic. I asked for her to be evaluated for these pains. They gave her a nausea pill and sent her to school. NO TESTING, NO EVALUATION QUESTIONS!!!!! Just here's a pill and bye!! This is not the first time I've had issues at this clinic. This is like the tenth!! I literally ended up in the hospital after seeing these clowns. They said no worries. Took everything I had to get to an appt because I was so sick. Waited forever for the front desk person to help me - I had Covid symptoms (as described in my appt request notes) so I didn't run up on the front desk - maintaining distance just in case - pre-filled out my forms so I don't have to wait long and the girl tells me I have a $10 copay - I had her a $50 bill because that's ALL I had on me - trying not to pass out in their waiting room she tells me she can only accept exact change. I can barely stand up and I ask her what can be done? She said "we can't see you without payment" WHAT IN THE EVER LOVING F***? She'd rather cancel my appt than even try to help me. The nice guy behind me is like "there's a gas station right there" I explained I can't get over there because I'm trying not to pass the hell out. If MultiCare needs $10 so badly that they'd rather turn people away, though I CLEARLY had the means to pay for the visit - then they can quite honestly shove it. WARNING! Visit Indigo Urgent Care if you prefer a staff that gets annoyed if you ask questions, and is rude and judgmental then this is the place for you! I have never been to Indigo before this terrible experience and i will never go again. It was late on a Sunday and one of the only places open near me. The staff doesn't take pride in their work, they are just there to do the minimum, and get a paycheck. Surprisingly they don't even pretend to care or hide their bad attitude. I even told them i didn't appreciate their attitude and all i got was a cold emotionless "sorry you feel that way". There should be an option to give zero stars.. Live and learn as they say. Don't bother making an appointment like they suggest. I pulled my son out of school for a sports physical because I was told that he could have an appointment at 1 PM. I was also told that appointment time lasts about 40 minutes. At 1:50 I texted my son and was informed that no one had been in his room yet. When bringing this to the front desk attention they informed me that the appointment does really mean much. I think the thing that frustrated me more than anything was that no less than three people came in after my son's appointment time and left within that 50 minute window. read more

I went in for a simple Covid-19 test, because I was exposed at my workplace and have been experiencing symptoms. On the phone with them, (to schedule something or see when I could come in) the lady on the phone sounded very rude but I chalked that up to maybe a stressful day or something. Well I go in, they have me check in for a wait list right, I ask how long the wait is, she said she didn't know, so I then asked for an estimate and she said 1-2hrs, which I was fine with (because they said I could go home and they would text me when it was my turn and that the wait once I returned would b about 15 min, cause I asked) but then after about 2 and a half hours, I called again, (Since it had been longer than her very vague"estimate") and it was a different person who answered the phone, she then tells me I won't be called in for another 3 hours, but then 10 min after I get off the phone with her, I get the text that it's my turn. So I head in. Get there, checked in, and they didn't call me back for an hour. I do not understand why they have the texting system and allow you to go home for the wait, but then call you in early and have you wait anyways? Like it was very confusing to me and they seemed very disorganized. I was called back, and the nurse was very nice, very informative, answered all my questions, she asked me what my symptoms were, wrote everything down, gave me the covid test, (which is what I was there for) and then I asked her when I would be getting the results and she said in about an hour on my app, (they have an app called MyChart). So I started to walk out and she then tells me I have to sit and wait for the doctor. I asked why, because I came in for the test, which I had already received at this point, so then the only thing I needed from them would be the results right, but she told me I could access those in my app.. so I wasn't sure why I needed to see a doctor? She proceeded to tell me that's "just how things work here" and then closes the door in my face. I waited another full hour. The doctor finally arrives, she asks my symptoms. So at this point, I am getting pretty annoyed and grumpy because I had checked in at 9:30am, it is now 2:00pm in the afternoon. They literally had me wait 2 hours just to ask the same questions?? So I asked her, didn't the nurse tell you? Her reply was so condescending, she goes "Well I am the doctor, so you need to just tell me what I'm asking you because this is how things work here" and she said it in such a rude tone of voice I was literally so stunned I didn't even know what to say. Then she tells me that I should be eating bland foods for my nausea, (like I'm some stupid child who doesn't know what to eat when I'm sick? Lady I'm almost 30yrs old..) She then tells me that's all and to have a nice day. So the entire appointment took around 5 hours, but the actual thing I was there for, only took the nurse maybe 5-10 MINUTES. They were all condescending as hell, giving me and OTHER PATIENTS attitude, I mean my fiancé was with me and even he was like wow I can't believe they talk to their patients like that. It was such an annoying experience. I will never be coming back here again. I've been here a few times and every time I've gone in the people they have at the front desk, (and it's always a different person mind you) they are always so rude and just kind of talk to you like your bothering them, like they don't have time for you or something, I don't know I just feel like they were all really rude and I'm not the only one who thought so. read more

Spent 7 hours on the phone waiting for a video visit. Got an order from a doctor to be able to get a covid test completed. Was told BY INDIGO that this was suffice. Waited to buy plane tickets as the price went up and up because we needed the test. Drove all the way to a different state to get this test and delayed work for the day. Arrived and was told that we were mislead by indigo and the order from the doctor would not suffice and we would need to wait another god knows how long for a video call. Contacted other places and found we could walk in immediately and get the test done. Get it together indigo. You wasted our time and money read more

Went in because my insurance nurse said my symptoms sounded like cellulitis of my foot. This was 2 weeks after being seen in the multicare valley hospital ER because I accidentally ripped the nail off my big toe. The ER nurse REFUSED to sterilize the skin on my foot before injecting xylocaine, even though she was told by 3 people that she was forgetting a very important step in giving injections. I was yelling "alcohol swab, alcohol swab! Sure enough, I was diagnosed with cellulitis, originating from the injection site and working its way towards my ankle and across the base of my toes on the sole of my foot. When the LNP came into the room the first time, after I had removed the bandage, she carelessly dragged the bottom of her lab coat right over the exposed nail bed. After she made the diagnosis she tried to prescribe keflex, which I am unable to take as it exacerbates my complex ptsd with the psychological side effects. She prescribed Bactrim instead. Within 2 doses I had 7 of the 12 side effects that are listed as very serious, call the doctor immediately. Racing heart, skipped beats, shortness of breath, muscle weakness, nausea and the worst headache I've ever had. I did and it took them 8 hours to call me back to tell me that the LNP talked to a REAL doctor about it who said exactly what I said last night. Penicillin. I literally thought I was dying today from her refusal to listen to me and her laziness about looking it up. Needless to say, I am completely done with any multicare facility. Not very professional looking either with pink hair, tattoos all over the assistant's neck including a large spider tattoo right on her throat and a nose piercing. And the only real adult I saw as far as staff goes was the radiology tech. If you value your health go anywhere else and avoid multicare at all costs. Update : Saw my regular Dr for a follow up on Tuesday the 17th. I now have a diagnosis of the first stages of Stevens Johnson syndrome, even though I only took 2 of the pills this twit ignored me and prescribed. Ulcers all over the roof of my mouth. He said if I had continued to take the poison prescribed for me I would be in the ICU right now. I went to multicare facilities with a relatively minor injury and they ended up giving me 2 potentially life threatening diseases. Again, if you value your health, you'd be better off going to a veterinarian. read more

I checked in with the online check in to get back sooner. I got there five minutes before my scheduled time was. There was only one other patient waiting to be seen at the time and I could see that they have rooms open to at least start triage process. I waited in the waiting room for about thirty minutes before being taken back into a room. I explained to the nurse what was going on (diarehha nausea and vomiting with fevers/chills and mild abdominal pain) She took my vitals, looked concerned and decided that she would swab my throat. The doctor Barbra came in about an hour later and decided that she would order a urine test. I took the test and peed in a cup as I was instructed to do so. Then she came back with the urine in hand shouting "this is water" me startled and not really understanding what just happened. Claimed that it wasn't and told her exactly how I took the test. She then stated that I have been pregnant and sexually active enough that it doesn't work like that. Me claiming that I have taken pee tests before said "If you would like me to take it again then fine, but you and I know for a fact that it is not water and that it is real pee". She left it as I am going to send you to the emergency room to be fully evaluated. Why do that? People don't come to your minor emergency clinics to get scolded like they are two. They come to maybe get some medicine to help them feel better when they are sick and when they know that they won't get any better treated at the ER and they don't have to go to the ER. So why send them there if it's not going to do anything just because you don't want to "misdiagnose them" if you're worried about that why start treating them at all why are you a doctor Barbra T?! you should lose your license for what you did to me. read more

Spokane Valley MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care - If you are looking for efficient and competent care, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The PA I saw (who didn't even bother to do a physical check-up) was excused for his poor care due to being "new to the area." Didn't offer any solution other than waiting however long at the ER. Didn't try to confirm any of my symptoms but somehow came to the conclusion I needed a CT scan. I work two jobs and don't have the time or money for such illogical solutions. He basically didn't want to work with me and lied to me about systems being connected as I had suggested he look at my doctor's notes. Low and behold, that wasn't true. He wrote some sort of referral to the hospital, where, low and behold, the systems are connected. I've been sick and was quite upset when they sent me away without even trying to treat me. Unfortunately, millennials have been hired who were just plain rude. No sense of customer service. I have never been into a doctor's office and been treated so poorly - no dignity, respect, or ethics. Just a lot of attitude. I was told of the notes that were written which left out a lot of the truth of what was said. Surprisingly unimpressed as I have never been treated so poorly. Jumping to conclusions, not listening to the patient. When I stated the truth, the PA who was hiding in the back threatened to call the police which was absolutely unwarranted. Terrible service trying to threaten anyone who has a voice into submission. Look elsewhere if you want decent care and to be treated decently. read more
