Gilberto Guzman's "Multi-cultural" is an endangered treasure- https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/destruction-mural-new-mexico

It depicts New Mexico's vibrant, multicultural history, with its blend of Native American, Hispanic, and Anglo peoples. Framing it are dramatic depictions of a Guernica-like bull and the Rio Grande Rift. It shows a fiesta, a railroad, warrior dancers, tortilla making and a corn goddess. There are apparently plans to demolish it because it's become weathered over the years, the song of ice and fire that is the New Mexico climate.
It's remarkable that "Multi-cultural" has lasted as long as it has. Back in 2000, when the bench underneath the mural was deemed Santa Fe Trails' bus depot (not the usual kind of depot with a ticketing booth, vending machines&restrooms) it was weathered. It has lost some of its luster (it was painted in 1980). Guzman was echoing the great Mexican muralists Jose Clemente Orozco and Diego Rivera.
