I had come in for a gel manicure yesterday and I was not satisfied with my manicure. My technician's station was a mess and did not look cleaned up from the previous client. She had clipped down both of my thumb nails and pointer fingers without asking me if that's what I would like and did not use the nail clipper that came in the sterile packaging; she used her own clippers, which I find very unsanitary. I have gotten this same gel manicure 2 other times and both of those technicians were very kind and did an amazing job. I am not bashing the salon as a whole because I do think it is a great salon; this one technician, however, is not. I don't know her name but she has long black hair. read more

I finally went to the closest nail salon to me despite my mom advisinge to go elsewhere. I'm taken right away and one of the ladies starts my nails. Right before she puts the polish on so I can go she takes on of her appointments. I wait almost 30 minutes until she finished. I thought she was going to finish polishing my nails so I could be on my way but she took another customer. After waiting for almost another 30 minutes I finally ask the nail tech next to me if anyone was going to finish my nails. Literally everyone that was in the salon when I got there had already left and I was still waiting! Finally another nail tech came over to put polish on my nails. They both did a terrible job might I add. My nails have never looked so fat and uneven. This salon made me wait over an hour just to get my nails painted and did a shitty job on top of that. I would never go back again and will warn people otherwise. I don't know if they gave me differential treatment because of the color my skin or if they normally make people wait an hour just to get polished and do such a sloppy job. I have NEVER had a bad pedicure experience.... this was my first!! I asked for the deluxe pedicure and received a nail trim, water on my jeans and polish. I still NEED a pedicure and will go to another establishment tomorrow. I could have received better services from my teenage daughter. This was my first and last time with Mullica Hill Nails Spa. I paid the required $25 without a tip. My tip is to take more time with customers, understand the services asked and know how to provide pedicure services. read more

I really hate the fact that I'm even writing a negative review for this place. I've been coming here for quite some time and have always been satisfied with the job I get done. I went in to get a French refill done. Which mind you I paid $45 for this refill because of the "style of French I wanted was more work". When the man was done, I was 100% unsatisfied with the job that was done however I did not want to put down his work so I left and called to make an appointment WITH SOMEONE ELSE the following day. Only for me to get there today and have the same person doing the same job. I requested to have it all redone but he insisted he couldn't file my nails down because they were "too thin" so he could only retouch the polish. The French is uneven. There is polish all over my fingers. There is white smeared on the parts that are meant to be pink. I mean these pictures don't do it any justice. I am just beyond disappointed with my experience and I really have such a hard time feeling like I want to return back to this salon. Completely unprofessional. Today was my third visit to this nail salon and it will absolutely be my last. The last two times I made 10am appointments for Sunday morning. BOTH of these times no one was there at 10am... there is always a bunch of people (who all have 10am appointments) waiting at the door. I understand that there can sometimes be traffic situations beyond anyones control, but this seems to be the norm for them. When someone finally does show up, they let everyone in and make 3 of the 4 appointments wait until someone else decides to come into work. Today, they had me wait 20 minutes before someone came over to tell me that "her boss won't be here until 11:30 and I can come back". I told her that I could not wait because I am traveling in a few hours and that was why I made this appointment 2 weeks ago. Don't make more appointments for a time slot than you can handle especially when your employees aren't going to show up for work on time. Luckily, Deluxe Nails (in the next shopping center over) was able to take me right away and they did an amazing job. I will gladly take my business to them and suggest others do as well. read more
