My experience with Dr. Jain taught me an important and expensive lesson about Pinterest. Essentially I saw a pin like this one: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/479281585319587611/ and I asked my primary healthcare provider if I should take magnesium. "Why?" she asked. "Because sometimes my heart races for apparently no reason." "What are you doing when it races?" "Nothing. Like, sitting on the couch watching my shows." "How often does that happen?" "Not that often. Maybe once every two or three months." She said I should see a cardiologist before taking magnesium. Okay. She referred me to Dr. Jain. At first I was weirded out because the answering service answers the phone most of the time. When I finally made an appointment the office person asked me to email my insurance card to an AOL account that seemed personal. It wasn't "drjain@aol.com" it was something that seemed unrelated to Dr. Jain or his practice. I called my regular doctor back and asked her about that. She said that many small practices use personal email accounts and not to be concerned. Okay. Then I went in to see Dr. Jain and she was right. It's a small practice. I told Dr. Jain about Pinterest and magnesium and (after some regular health history questions and an examination) he told me that I probably didn't need to take magnesium but that he could do some testing to make sure. I told him okay, but that I've only budgeted $800 for this. I paid about $800 upfront. The testing he did was thorough. He did a stress test, an echocardiogram, and something that involved wearing several electrodes taped to my body and connecting to a pager-like device. He determined that my heart is perfectly healthy and that I didn't need to take magnesium as he predicted before I had to pay for all of that. Initially, I was satisfied because I only paid about what we discussed and I budgeted. Then, I got a bill from them for even more money. It was all very confusing why I had to pay so much money considering I thought I paid for everything up front. Then I got a bill from Cardionet. They were also confused why Cardionet was sending me bills and told me that they would take care of it. Months later, it turns out that I really did need to pay Cardionet and that now it was past due. Great, right? In the end I paid him a total of $914.30 plus $78.96 for Cardionet. Anyway, I suppose that if you actually have a heart problem then going to see Dr. Jain would be amazing. He would do tons of testing to find out exactly what the issue is and how to treat you. If you don't have a heart problem, he'll tell you that you don't and then STILL do tons of testing. I learned not to ask health care professionals about stuff I read on Pinterest. read more

Dr. Jain is one of the best Drs I have ever worked with. To start with office staff are nice, explain what they are doing, give an estimated length of time it'll take to perform any service and constantly check in while you wait in between procedures. The office is cozy and inviting. Dr. Jain takes his time and let's you know and feel you are the priority. He is thorough, informative, sweet and understanding. He personally calls to give any lab results, which I find to be very pleasant. I would recommend anyone who has any heart complications, or concerns to reach out to Dr. Jain. read more

This is how medicine should be practiced! When an appointment is made, be seen on time. When you're being seen, the attention should be on the patient. When tests and processes are administered, the results should be explained and clarified. When treatment is an option, input and feedback should be invited. Dr. Jain, does it all. The most compassionate doctor I've ever had and this means a lot because I hate going to the doctor. I wasn't thrilled to have high blood pressure or heart disease but having Dr. Jain as my cardiologist makes the experience a little easier to handle. Kind, knowledgable and supportive while also is your partner in your health. Great front office staff and nurse that are helpful and just as kind. I highly recommend Dr. Jain. read more

I found scheduling appointments with him tedious. He uses an answering service to pass calls and creates a game of phone tag with you and the receptionist. He seems knowledgeable, but I have to find someone that I can actually reach. read more

Excellent physician and very knowledgeable. His experience and the fact that he was able to take care of all my needs in one visit was a huge draw. More than satisfied on all accounts. I noticed another review from a few years ago that complained about reaching his office. I never had a problem with appointments and his patient portal is on his website and live 24/7. Dr Jain is an outstanding cardiologist and a phenomenal person. He is thorough, experienced and caring. When my wife experienced cardiac problems and we were out of town, he gave us excellent advice on what to do and throughout an entire weekend he frequently called us and the cardiologist treating my wife to make sure everything was OK. I completely disagree with the above post. Dr. Jain was the least emphathic doctor I have ever come across. He often cut me off when describing my issue, he appeared very irritated, often challenged me and when I would ask him to repeat something, he would do so with annoyance. Dr. Jain has great bedside manner, total respect for the patient and the patient's time. His examination of me was thorough and complete and then he sat down and explained my condition to me. Too bad all Dr.s aren't as thorough as Dr. Jain. I would highly recommend him. read more
