The store was a decent size and did have a nice range of items, which still seemed good quality and they were applicances, I guess were discontinued and sold at set price, but they still seemed to be good, and honestly I'm a tech-lover but even I don't care about having the latest iron, kettle, blender or toaster if such thing exists, as they still had some pretty nice applicances here. The decor was basic but it seemed typical of most Outlet stores, it was okay. The staff seemed nice here, the man picked up a boxed version of my iron from the back, rather than the model I picked up, it is worth noting some items here may not come in boxes which is partly linked into the lower price. Overall, this is a nice store for home and cookware appliances, and really worth a look in while in the area, and one of my favorite stores int he Lowry Outlet and I feel it has done enough to earn three stars.

The store was fairly attractive and well laid out. I wasn't able to find what I was looking for, and I found the staff to be unhelpful, there was one staff member on the shop floor who seemed to be stocking shelves as slowly as humanly possible, and did not seem very interested in customer attractions. 3* - OK, a nice store, but doesn't really offer anything you can't find at John Lewis a couple of stores down or many other stores within The Trafford Centre.

Paul and Lisa, of CBK Interiors Limited, owe me £10,270 worth…read moreof appliances, tiles, flooring, radiators and other items which they have failed to deliver for the last month. The last communication we had from them was in February, requesting the money from us to order these items so they could book in the tradespeople to complete our kitchen renovation. After we paid them, that was the last we heard from them. We have sent both Paul and Lisa, as well as their administrator, Amelia, numerous messages via email, WhatsApp, text message and phone, imploring them to respond to us over the last four weeks. All we ever received in return were various versions of OOO messages saying that they couldn't work because of storm damage to the shop, or they had Covid, or they were dealing with personal issues, or they were unwell for another reason. They have put us through extraordinary mental, emotional and physical strain by leaving us to live in a worksite, with an 18 month old toddler. When they originally quoted a timetable for us, they said this would be a 5-6 week job. We are now in the 12th week, and the last 4 weeks have been a waking nightmare. They have behaved truly callously to take such a huge sum of money from us and to have then disappeared behind ever evolving Out of Office messages. We have offered them every opportunity to make good this situation, and they have deliberately ignored our messages, refused our phone calls, and they have now forced us into a position where we have to pursue them legally. Even before they disappeared with our money there were red flags - subcontractors walked off our job because of disputes with CBK over money. We had to rescue our worktop from the granite cutter and intervene ourselves, only after we found out through another subcontractor that CBK hadn't paid the deposit for our worktop. The plans they drew up initially failed to account for a wall that was planned to be installed to support the RSJ, which was a sloppy oversight on their part, and which now means our radiator pipes need to be moved. Their project management service is non-existent - they had forgotten to organise a decorator to paint the walls after they'd been plastered and instead of owning up to the error (we have in writing that they would organise this) and making it right, they left it up to us to find someone at short notice, making us lose another week to inaction. This is an incredibly stressful situation, and there is no possible conceivable explanation for why they have done this, if not out of malpractice. Our only hope now is to recover the money they have taken from us through the court system.

The store is large and has a good selection of bits and bobs, from pillows to appliances, from ice cube trays and cheese-graters. Considering, they're supposed to be a "discount" chain, I did find some prices to be a little high, if you're lucky you'll find a high-quality item with a good discount/offer though, so it's kind of like a TKMaxx jumble sale but replacing the clothes with home items. The staff seemed friendly and happy to help me find what I was looking for, and the experience at the checkout was smooth. This is a fairly good store, obviously, some deals are better than others, but probably the best selection of home furnishing in the Manchester Arndale, with a fairly presentable store and helpful staff. 4*

They've got the Christmas stock in at the moment and it's absolutely gorgeous, snow globes and crockery, bath products and food. You name it :) I had to drag myself out of the shop before I spent my entire pay check. I love that you can get top quality, one off items here are a very decent price. The staff are always helpful and the store is clean and well presented. They also have a pretty good reduced to clear range. If you're in to DIY like me you can pick up something that's a little damaged for a ridiculous price and fix it up at home. I've saved so much doing this. I also find this shop to be ideal for gift shopping as they stock such a wide range of products, the packaging tends to be beautiful and I can pick up items here that I wouldn't normally see in other shops.
