What a cool shop! I'm so happy something like this opened in the city center - IKEA is light years away from central Hamburg and Butler's just isn't cutting it.
Muji is a Japanese brand which sells lots and lots (and lots) of no-logo goods. They've got everything from home accessories, office supplies, furnishing, basic clothing, travel gear, small electronics and storage solutions.
I picked up a really nice pair of house slippers, a few bathroom supplies and a zip-folder for storing papers, I'd love to come back here and perhaps buy one of their memory foam pillows and ink pens.
Prices here are decent. Soaps can be expensive at 7e a bottle and the rest of the prices aren't cheap - but the quality of the items is really very good. I think the automatic tendency to associate no-logo goods with poor construction and a very cheap price-level is well challenged by Muji.
Very worth a visit if you need... stuff. They literally have everything you need for your day-to-day. Quality is excellent, product design is great. They just made a loyal customer! read more
