We have been on many excursions here in the past but this is by far the best experience we have ever had!! Captain Patrick was fabulous. From reservation to end of excursion it was fabulous. Excellent communication. Reminder of what plan was day before. Captain Patrick made sure we saw all the sights we wanted to see plus gave us history on many parts of island. I could not recommend this company highly enough ( and I can be critical:)). But this was a perfect day!!! Thank you

He helped arrange for the cab from the airport. So basically we were whisked from airport to his boat from Crown Bay St. T to the National Park dock in St. J. All in including taxi, pre packed beer cooler and boat was only about $200 more than the public rime consuming option. Then on way back to St Thomas we did a full day excursion with the same captian Daniel and hit 5 snorkeling beaches one better than the next. Killed two birds with one stone for the taxi back and the snorkeling. Daniel was great and knowledgeable but chill at the same time. Highly recommend.

We stopped by a beach for lunch and did some sight seeing with caves where he told us some stories about the attractions. The level of accommodation was also stellar as he was able to be flexible with our needs. Some of our friends were sea sick and requested to be dropped off a beach to relax and picked up later. The captain planned our day around that and helped to keep time of when we would go pick up our friends. The coral reefs were so vibrant and we saw so many fishes in the ocean. The captain made us feel safe that he has our back in case we swayed too far from the boat or needed help. I am not a swimmer but the boat had noodles and life jackets that he did not mind taking out and putting away as we went about our day. I appreciated how respectful the captain was about the island and the rules implemented such as reef safe sunscreens, no touching the turtles and so on. We had a great time and learned a thing or two! Towards the end of the trip a friend realized he had forgotten something on the boat and sonic charters helped us locate the boat and captain to retrieve it. Coming from nyc, it would have been long gone but glad we got it back. We had a great time, I would recommend them for anyone visiting and want their own boat to get away from the crowds.

Alibi Boat Charters was a recommendation from my wife's co workers, and we are glad we took that…read moreadvice. When you think of all the money spent on single excursions from a snorkeling trip, turtle watching, half day on a boat it definitely adds up more than what we spent here. As a family of four, booked on Calico Jack, it was $950 plus tax, so an even 1000. Alibi is very transparent with pricing as well. Be prepared to pay fuel cost (we used 25 gal at $5.77/gal) and minimum $200 gratuity. By the time all is said and done you will be close to $1400. If you are going with another family you can split the costs. The charter company will provide you with a cooler stocked with ice and a 1 gallon of water, you bring the food, drinks and snacks. We brought our water bottles filled already and topped off as needed. As to the snacks, we found ourselves only snacking to take the salt water out of our mouth, other than that we were having fun from location to location exploring beaches and snorkeling spots that by the time we were hungry it was lunch time! Captain Ethan took us to the Island of Luvango for lunch, and this appears to be the spot for everyone. What a beautiful view, and more importantly what a Great lunch! i would highly recommend the bowls, that seemed to be the way to go, and soooo delicious. The drinks were ok, however we were not there to drink. We spent a good hour having lunch, using the restrooms, and exploring the couple of shops they had on the island. After we were all said and done, they take you back to your boat on a dingy and back on the trip. The rest of the day was spent doing some more exploring snorkeling around the islands. Christmas Cove was probably my favorite snorkeling around a small rock formation where I got to see corral and all types of fish, sea turtles, and ocean life. That in itself was worth the trip. The kids did not want to explore so they stayed following sea turtles and swimming around a sunken ship. After that it was onto the last stop at Epstein Island. Captain Ethan said there was some good exploring here too, and he also said, "remember the island didn't do anything to anybody, the people did," so be open and take it in. If anything just for the purpose of saying you saw it for yourself. By the end of the day we were spent. Before you knew it the day was over. To me that is a sign of a great day when you lose track of time, off your phone, having good conversation with the Captain to learn about the locations, and documenting your excursion. Captain Ethan took some great photos of us and was very attentive to going to areas that would allow us to see the most of all the islands. Oh, I forgot to mention Oppenheimer beach...yup "The Oppenheimer", where he ended up living the last of his days. Another memorable spot that we can now say we been too. Should we return back we would definitely consider booking another excursion to explore the British Islands.

Captain Val was very helpful and informative about the safety guidelines for the extremely comfortable boat we were blessed to have for the day. We listened to some great tunes as we began our experience. Val took us to some great locations, informing us along the way about the history and what to expect. Christmas Cove was the perfect spot for a first time snorkeler and Lovango Cay had some great coral and fish! Captain Val's lunch recommendation on St. John was perfect. The day was perfect! From snorkeling with the turtles, colorful fish and diverse coral to the beautiful beaches, history and weather. This excursion was the highlight of our vacation! This adventurous lady was a virgin snorkeler and Val helped make it easy. I'll be returning to my island home in southern Florida and ready to do some snorkeling there asap!

We knew we wanted to take an excursion from St. John and luckily, our resort (Ritz Carlton Club) was able to find us the perfect trip with Chris. We departed our hotel (with our own drinks and snacks), coolers, towels, diving/snorkel gear were provided. Chris also coordinated going through customs at British Virgin Islands, our first stop were the Baths. It was an amazing ride with the beautiful waters, scenic shorelines, and awesome captain. Chris is not only a skilled captain but a great tour guide having grown up and spending a lot of time in this region. He pointed out the top beaches and a lot of other landmarks along the way. We spent time navigating through the Baths (I suggest water shoes as the ground was fairly hot and some of the rocks, nooks, and tunnels you have to go through are pretty challenging for the some of us. We touched many of the other islands like Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and had lunch at the Soggy Dollar with Chris. Chris is personable, professional, and has a 'good seaside manner'--very skilled at the helm. Loved this trip, Chris and Local Legend made it one of our most memorable travels.
