They asked me for a VIN photo, promised they had the part in stock, and said the work would be done. What actually happened? NOTHING. They didn't replace the sensor, didn't touch the wheel, didn't do a damn thing. Then they held my trailer hostage and demanded money for some made-up "fees." I never requested diagnostics, never approved any extra services. The only thing I wanted was a simple sensor replacement -- and they flat out refused to do the job. This is pure extortion and fraud. Low and behold, one of my rear tires was quite flat. We stopped at Kroll's diner and one of the waitress's suggest we go next door to Tuffy. Since it was a Saturday and there was just Tobey and Michael in the shop, Tobey came from behind the desk to take the car and put on the hoist to look for the leak. Unfortunately, it was not obvious and the tire needed to come off the vehicle. They eventually determined the leak was at the base on the valve stem and replaced. We were back on our way in a couple of hours. Tobey told me if I was not from out of town, given it was a Saturday and limited crew, he would have asked us to come back Monday. I can't express how grateful and appreciative I am of both of them, for not sending us away and addressing our untimely issue. These are good people!! Then they gave her back the car just for it to break down two hours later, so she called them back turns out it was the timing chain they said they would bring the car back into the shop and repair that for another fee. If they were a reputable shop, they would've known right away. It was the timing chain, or offered her a refund, instead they offered to fix it for more money. they are con artists just trying to make extra money. I wouldn't bring your car there. My water pump was starting to go out they said me not knowing much about cars, Jessica also not explaining my belt wraps around the pump so belt they put on is going to jiggle right off. Anyways 300 dollars later originally supposed to be 90, I drive 30 minutes, turn my car off then back on and my wheel won't move and my car is steaming.
