when i had to meet my unck for his physical therapy at the hospital nearby it was much faster and…read morebetter for me to grab the metro north train at gct and get off woodlawn station which in minutes took about 30 minutes compare to an hour by car. the walk from station to hospital is a few minutes and its never crowded especially during the morning and early afternoon . its on the border of westchester county which is the next train stop and near the bronx river parkway. a metro north police car seems to always be parked at the lot but overall area is safe especially during the day . for quick time travel to the hospital from grand central terminal its the way to go .

It became extremely apparent that there was a large, tattered hole where the crotch of his pants used to be. 2. A fully dressed man came through the car, asking for change. The man without adequate genital coverage stood up, dug through his pockets (surprisingly intact), and handed the panhandler some coins. This man, who stank like Bigfoot's Dick and whose pants were lacking where they were most needed, gave another soul his last bit of change. Thank you, C Train, for teaching me the meaning of generosity. And also for making me 30 minutes late to my soccer game. And for traumatizing my girlfriend.

Reason being is that I used Google assistance for traveling. It would have been easier to catch the F train at 179th and Hillside Ave for convenience. The F train offered a quick transit to and from destination while providing entertainment below ground. I was one of several people who did give a tip to the dancers. There's also elevator service for those who don't ambulate well and for the handicapped and elderly. This was a very pleasurable trip that will forever encourage me to take the train and not consider driving or taking a Uber or catching a Lyft Bravo MTA, you did a fine job with the F train even though there were slight delays. Whether it's safe these days at certain hours I'm not sure. I know I wasn't fond of traveling to Port Chester alone at times in my life. I remember the times I needed a cab. Finding a cab was hit or miss. Incoming trains are not on the side where you can easily enter the Station Building. You walk down the long flight of stairs to a back street. Frequently my family would be waiting outside the station to pick me up. Sometimes they were late! I've never seen the inside of the station dirty. I always found it deserted. I didn't travel during peak hours. On my return trips to Manhattan I go outside and wait patiently for the train. I'm always afraid I'll miss it if I wait inside. I sure don't want to be stuck there waiting for the next train! When my Cousin Jim was alive we would sit in the car and talk. When we saw the train coming I'd head upstairs to the track. He'd wait to see I boarded safely. That memory makes me sad. It was nice to be cared for by a Cousin/Brother. Since he died I don't go back to Port Chester much. So much has changed since I was growing up. This station used to have a small coffee stand that…read moresold newspapers, and bagels. The best part of it was the man behind the stand. He was blind. I was always amazed on how he was able to give people the exact change. Today the shop no longer exists. It is now a Restaraunt that is only open in the spring and summer time. This location gets commuters from Greenwich, rye and Port Chester. I can see a Starbucks here making a killing.
