Exiting this station will lead passengers intersecting Fulton Street between Clinton Avenue and Washington Avenue. Platform walls have a light green trim line with a dark green border, and ceramic plaques and tile mosaic name tablets reading "CLINTON - WASHINGTON AV." in white sans-serif lettering broken into two lines on a dark green background and light green border. There is small tile captions alternating between "CLINTON" and "WASHINGTON" in white lettering on a black background below the trim line and background directional arrow street-level caption signage. I am always enamored with MTA's original mosaic name tablets and other original mosaic art for the charm and old world craft. This subway station contains a human operated MTA token 24/7 booth located at the Clinton Avenue and Fulton Street exit/entrance. There are no transfers at this station. Platform style is two side against the wall narrow. As I waited for a Manhattan bound C train, with great dismal and appalling disgust, I observed a large rat scurrying the platform behind a garbage can. All in all, err on the side of caution or "constant vigilance" as per Mad-Eye Moody in "Harry Potter." It is not ADA accessible. Nota bene: This subway station's entrance above ground exterior was very briefly featured in The Notorious B.I.G.'s music video "Juicy."

Too bad in this train station, I couldn't see the elevator going downstairs to the train platform. Also the ceiling paint is peeling and it is just very old. Although the commute was lengthy via Jamaica-179 St Line F with 16 stops; it was a relief and money saver because it connected me to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street Station where I was able to catch the Q70 LaGuardia Link SBS. Located in a high traffic area next to the MetroTech Center, the subway station serves as a major transit to downtown Brooklyn. I'm not sure if the OMNY (One Metro New York) card machine is always down, but it was surely not working the day I commuted from this station. It resulted in me having to go to a different location to purchase one. I must say that I have never had this experience in Chicago Illinois when purchasing a ventra card to catch the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) train, so I will assume that the OMNY card machine is always down. I am still open to commuting to-and-from MTA - Jay Street - MetroTech because it sits nearest to a hotel I will likely stay at again when visiting Brooklyn. However, I would not count on purchasing an OMNY card at this station. ~Have courage. Be Kind. ~ Thomas G

The inside is pretty decent and the trains are on time. A lot smaller compared to the Barclays. It serves the 2, 3, 4, and 5 Trains. There's not so much commotion here, which makes it easier to get on trains. It's one of the stations for Boerum Hill. There's a few restaurants outside the station, mostly fast food and chains, but there's a few better ones. Fulton Street Mall is also here. They have the basic stores you find in any mall. I think it's pretty okay. It's not a fantastic station but it's good enough. The best thing about it is the proximity to Barclays and restaurants.

I really dislike this station, but just the fact that I can be on the train platform and have a good idea of the exact time I have to wait before the next train arrival is a big help. Did I say that this train is really filthy?

I had an outstanding experience with this Brooklyn Shuttle and would highly recommend it to anyone…read moretraveling. From the moment we booked, the communication was clear and professional. We received timely confirmations and updates, which made the entire process stress-free. The driver arrived right on schedule--actually a few minutes early (at 2:15 AM!)--and was friendly, courteous, and ready to help with luggage. The shuttle itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The ride to the airport was smooth and efficient, with excellent time management that ensured we arrived with plenty of time to spare. This was a 14 person van as well! What really stood out was the overall reliability and attention to detail. Traveling can be hectic, but this service made getting to the airport one of the easiest parts of the trip. I will absolutely be using this shuttle service again and would recommend it to anyone looking for dependable, high-quality airport transportation.

They were clear, kind and helpful in their communication when we initially approached them and set us up with two large shuttles. Their prices were also very reasonable. We had a last minute request to add an additional shuttle to take myself, my wife, our photographer and our dog to our ceremony location at Prospect Park, which they were quick to accommodate without any question. The morning of the wedding, the shuttle arrived early, the driver Austin (who is an awesome guy and deserves a raise) called to let me know he was there, and that he would circle the block until we were ready. He was very patient and kind as we took photos walking up to, and exiting the shuttle. There was a street sweeper blocking the street ahead of us, and to make sure we weren't late to the ceremony, Austin started impressively backing down the one way street, maneuvering around cars to get us back on the road. Luckily the street sweeper moved and we could go forward, but the fact that he was willing to do that was amazing. He got us to our location on time, and was kind the entire way. The shuttles picked all our guests up promptly later in the day, and got everyone to the after party safely and comfortably. Both shuttles seemed brand new and incredibly clean. I can't recommend Brooklyn Shuttle enough. If you have any doubts, don't. Just book them and you won't be sorry.
